Hey guys,

Just got a problem that starting to drive me insane.
Every now and then I go to start the beast and it won't start. It cranks but nothing else.
I've noticed that on the dash the s4 green light is flashing. I'd suspect it has something to do with the transmission cos if I starts it feels like I got no 1st gear. I really dont know..

Any help would be great!!

Pull the relay out, take off the casing, re-solder all the soldered joins, reassemble, put back in car, START yey!

What if I just replace the relay? Ive noticed that it's shitty though what's the cause of it?

yeah that works too :) well things like vibrations and heat through the cabin can cause micro cracks in the solder that you usually can't event see, or it just separates when it heats up e.g. after a decent length drive or a hot day.
