is sold in Malaysia, they build there own civic there with the 2.0 i-vtec.
why can't Aus have one.

If the build quality on Proton is anything to go by... I'm staying right away from a Malasian assembled car.

Don't compare it too Proton there local and export quality is 2 different things.
but my friends who own a Proton before had problems like automatic windows failed, alarm failed and all these kind of electrical problems. Good this there engine is good from Mitsubishi.

Honda have high quality assurance in all there factories in asia but is usually for local Consumption. I think Honda have the highest fit and finish for a Japanese brand. I have seen the China made honda accords, looks better if not the same as the ones we have here.

Oh yeah, BMW have a factory in Malaysia too. Taiwan also have a Honda Factory and your Honda Civic, accord and jazz are made in thailand for aus
