View Full Version : Kick @ 6200rpm to redline

Hey guys, just wondering...
lately i have noticed that if i put the foot down in 2nd, (where it is felt most) there is a strange kick at around 6200 toi redline, almost like vtec, but way past normal engagement.
could this be a vtec problem? solenoid or something?

mine kicks in about 5400-5500rpm

Yes i have a CAI setup from throttle body.

I have had that setup for a while now and i have never felt this before...

it depends on your fuel as well
and the air/fuel ratio
