I'm sorry to dissapoint but I don't own a civic yet but due to recent circumstances I am currently on the lookout for some decent 92-94 civic , hatch or sedan, Im even considering the carby model (but not the BREEZE!) . Installed rear hatch window strut as one was broken when I got the car. while trying to install strut figured I'll use the other side as a reference on how the plug, rubber washer and nut goes together on the window only to find out it was broken as well and missing the nut that goes behind the window =(

I painted the wipers matt black, fitted new windscreen surrounds, fitted new weather strips on both doors, fitted new door trims, fitted a cup holder, and painted the roof mouldings in Plastidip matte black. Replaced the bent and tatty board that covers the spare wheel in the boot, with a piece of black perspex, light and strong.

Also painted ONE of my wheels in Plastidip White, interested to see how durable it is, how dirty it gets from brake dust, and how easy it is to clean.

I also bought an oven off ebay for 99 cents!

I plan to paint the wheels in championship white, and bake them in the oven to improve the durability of the paint. We will see how that goes. My wife won't let me bake wheels in the kitchen!

Plastidip sucks I have decided. White for a week, then grey and black because of the brake dust. Yes, you can clean them, but they only come up average. Black or dark colours would be OK. Rattle canned 2 of my wheels in white, baked in the "oven" for 4 hours at 150 degrees (according to my metallurgist friend this will do NO harm to the strength of the alloy). The paint has set like a rock, very hard. Polished the paint with 1500 wet and dry, then water rubbing compound, then polish, and they look like new.

New Spoon duracon knob, and a set of 20 Gorilla lock nuts to keep the wheels in place.

I have gotten tired of my AWD and have since moved back to a Honda.
After reading pages and pages of build threads i got to work on my own.

I will be using this car as a Track dedicated car and currently running a D16 SOHC. Once the motor blows, i will decide what upgrade will follow.
I have removed all the interior and sound deadening as well as the firewall padding.

Dead right, plastidip sucks, BUT, I will say, the one thing I have found it useful for is the mouldings in the roof. Painted them a nice matte black in Plastidip. The plastidip smoothed out all the tiny cracks, and gives a nice finish. I must admit though on REALLY hot days the plastidip feels a bit tacky.

Bringing a topic back from the dead but today got to install front mud flaps, flat amber indicators, jdm coin pocket, jdm power folding mirrors control, jdm floor mat hook, and jdm front speaker mounts and 16cm speakers.

Finally found some time to work on the eg. Still on the list to do...

Install rear speaker setup from vti, change to advan rims I have sitting in the backyard, install rear mud flaps, and look for more parts to buy and install =D

Yeah boost is the only way with SOHC! I've driven a boosted Y4 and that went alright mind you. You can pickup a quality used D series turbo kit for around 1k, if your interested a mate is selling his Edelbrock kit with a T28

it's an aluminum plate with 3m cf wrap, was thinking getting a cf plate fabricated but cost too much...

put back my rear interior recently... also did a custom swap of the dc2r rear seats so now it has no annoying gap (dc2r seat is smaller than the eg).

bit the bullet and cut a hole on my rear interior to install c-pillar bar...

also the double rear gather speakers but missing the speaker covers...

Don't have any pics but pulled the throttle body off of my EK1 Civic GLi, was pretty damn dirty. Idle screw and the little bypass valve was all blocked up with black dirt, did it hoping that it would solve some idle problems with the aircon on. It would drop to very low RPM's after being revved and recover (barely). Seems to run fine now and initial throttle response is a little better.

The calipers I paint a year ago and it's been installed into my car for over 6 months already, surprisingly the colour still hold up fine, just pretty dirty everywhere lol

After the adjustment, I guess I'll need another wheel alignment. Oh well I'll leave it until I get another set of front sway bar endlinks first ;)
