First honda owner!! :), 90 Civic GL

Hey guys.

Looking forward to getting to know other honda enthusiasts, today i am 19 and just got my hands on my very first car which is a 1990 honda civic GL hatch, right now the car has a dead battery and a dead motor, needs some work done in the suspension area and a new muffler to become roadworthy as-far as i know, looking forward to this little project.

Edit: Its nice and completely stock, so nice project i recon as a first car, just need to focus on getting it running and roadworthy before the real project starts.

it's always fun to work on cars you get a real sense of achievement ;) not surprised the engine is dead almost 414,000 kms lol, if the stock one of course

yer it is the original one, my dads best friend from school has had the car since 1991 (1 year old) and he is the kinda guy that has never had that much money, so therefor looks after his stuff very well, plus he doesn't have that destructive personality to him, so it has general ware like a rip on the driverside top trim of the door, has duct tape over it atm, but in general it is a good car, nice straight body. Roof has sun damaged paint. But that will just add some painting experience. So i guess what im saying is the car has some history, not just a random civic ive picked up. are light and bonnet protectors a rare find or something?

already in love with it, gonna remove the seat covors and matts give it a wash, polish, vacume, armour oil and windex the windows :D

yer i have no plans of removing them
