Carly's red ek cxi

Hey Everyone,

Just thought I'd let you know a little bit about myself...
My names Carly I live in QLD and I own a 96' Honda Civic CXI Hatchback
Its red, paint is a bit patchy, some is old and faded :p buuuuuuut hopefully it will sooon be resprayed =D. Anyway I havent done much to it yet as funds are coming in slowly buuuuuuut SO FAR i've got:
16" Black ROH rims
Momo Gear Knob
Installed Sub, Amp and JVC splits
Custom madrel bent 2 1/4" cat back exhaust

Some douche did reverse into my back right light and rear guard and decided to take off and not leave any details :thumbdwn:: ( sooo I have to fix that up which is probably my first priority buuuut some plans I have for my civdinky are;
Rear sway bar
Front strut brace
Tinted Windows
Respray
New front bar (ek9 preferably, anyone have one up for sale? :D)
Reground Cam to give it some more lump haha
Extractors
Cold air intake
Lowered suspension
Tacho, coz cxi's don't have one from factory :(
...or Maybe just a conversion!

I'll have some pics up soon as I'm not on my computer atm.

I'm looking forward to some honda cruises and modifying my civic some more :D

Welcome and congrats on the purchase!

Looks like you want to go all out with the mod's. IMO, the money you will spend on your car with expensive mods will be wasteful. Youll prob add max 3-4kw to a slow car, if i were you i would use the money for an engine conversion. But if modding is your thing and you just wanna have some fun then go for it! :D

Thankyou muchly =D hahaha im not entirely sure on what I want to do atm. It would be nice for it too look the part its a bit dodge atm I really want a
new front bar when I bought it there were massive scratches all along the front bar and i've gotten some of them out myself but the others are fairly deep
and I just hate the black bumper things on the front buuuuuuuuut I have been thinking of doing a conversion to a B16A but yeah, only if I can get the funds up...but we'll see. I probably wont get half the things done to it, but while im on my p's some fun is in order =] only a year and a half to go!

yeh well ive been on here since sept 09 and i have gone from knowing nothing about hondas to a fair amount...theres always more to learn and i love it!
well your in luck....theres plenty of members down there with lots of knowledge.
im from Maroochydore (Kawana Waters) and theres only a hand full of members up here but plenty of hondas who havent joined.

most of them are oldies and i doubt they would join...wouldnt mind their cars as they look clean as.
