Hey guys.

I checked the air filter today to see how dirty it was. I found out that one part that leads out of the side of the air pipe (as in picture) wasnt connected.

So I connected it, and now the engine seems more zippy. At higher revs it is more responsive, and gives off a deeper hum noise. If I was to guess, this extra pipe feeds more oxygen as more fuel burns are higher revs?

I dont know why it wasnt connected before. Thanks

The reason it may have been disconnected was it may of had an aftermarket air intake on it and I think some of them don't use this pipe.

I just marked the photo about what im refering too :). Well im pretty sure the engine was never modified (as per knowledge from the previous owner). But I must say that im happy i connected it, the engine is more responsive now when needed.

Yeh it keeps it but u have to disconnect it then reconnect it yen u put the standard box back on. So I'm guessing they forgot to reconnect it when they sold it.
