hey guys i was looking at buying and installing a heavy duty clutch in my DC5R. the one that i was looking at is the "Xtreme dampened cushioned button heavy duty clutch" which is known as the xtreme DCBHD. any thoughts on this clutch ? quality, reliability ?
thanks :)

If the car is stock or light mods you dont need to use a button clutch.
A regular fullface heavy duty or sport organic will be fine

shouldnt need a heavier clutch for the mods you have,i recommend you buy a ecu +tune as your next mod, then buy a decent clutch.

Having buttons instead of fullfaced means less surface contact reducing heat build up.
They are a harsher clutch but if sprung theyre not as bad. Also depends on the presssure plate which will determine the pedal feel and take up

Ekvtir is right.
Also putting an extreme overrated clutch could also mean gbox wear/damage.
With ur setup u should be ok with a HD organic kit
Ive only ever blown my fozzy gbox, due to the fact that the clutch was too aggressive. Them 3.5k later rebuild Sti box, new clutch kit.
Fuuuuuuu!!!!

exedy sports organic will suit you fine
if you go down the button option all your gonna give yourself is grief esp if you DD your car haha
the SO clutch is pretty much identical to the stock feel but notably stronger & durable
good to also look at lightened flywheel while your down there too - at the very least you'll need to machine the one thats in there now
