Hi guys,

I'm looking at getting some feedback on Function & Form Type 1 coilovers, who has/had it on their EK1?

- how would you rate it?
- comfy enough for daily use?
- any noise and anything went wrong?

Thanks in advance

theyre pretty good man. a mate of mine has a set. pretty close to stock ride comfort honestly. not sure performance wise as ive never pushed his car. but i think theyre over priced! and dont go as low as id like.. lol

i reckon get a basic bc setup! best bang for buck imo. had them for years and cant complain, awsome for daily and are great for entry level track use. oh and they go lowwwww!!!! :P

i dont know about comfy man

car bounces up and down, and it feels like im bunny hopping every time the road isnt flat smooth - would hate it for daily use.

everything flies up and down when you hit a bump - car was like dis https://fbcdn-sphotos-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/s720x720/148987_423192557691246_171290981_n.jpg .

from memory f&f drop about 3 inches. but the back tends to sit higher on my mates car even though he's maxed them
out.

ride comfort will vary depending on spring rates.
imo if you dont track your car, go as soft as you can. dont make the same mistake i did when i bought my first set of coilovers!! i had 12kg at the front and 18kg at the back.
car felt like a horse an carriage, and i can bet anything i looked like a dikhead bouncing around over tiny bumps.

something like 7kg front and 4kg rear; or even 8kg front 6kg rear. this should give you a firm sporty feel, with a dailyable amount of stiffness.
