Hey guys,

i had new tyres fitted to my car along with a wheel alignment about 4-5k kms ago, i noticed today i have a little bit of uneven wear on the front and rear tyres, the front tyres have alot of wear in the middle and the rears have more than usual wear on the inside... i took it to the tyre shop today and the guy said its because my suspension is really hard and theres hardly any suspension travel so the tyres take alot of wear.... my only concern is that my suspension is stock so is this normal or not? maybe i should use a more harder compound tyre as opposed to my softer compound kumho ku31

any ideas/suggestions would be great

thanks

Have them check your toe settings.

#If the front is wearing more in the middle its because the tires over inflated!!!
#As for the Rear wearing on the inside thread. To much negative camber! I recommend running no more then 1 degree! unless you want to get your tires rotated every so often!

hmm that could well explain why my front tyres are wearing in the middle, i like my tyres very inflated, in fact i have them at 40psi... what would u recommend i have all the tyres inflated to?

as for the rear ill get the camber checked out...

i have 205/50/15 Ku36 ATM and i run the front at 36 and rear at 32. I also have stock suspension. Slight removal of weight in the rear!
Also above i mentioned rotating the tires. That means removing the tires and installing it on the other rim opposite side as there directional and must face the same way. Not just rotating the rims
