Thanks for the feedback guys. I ordered a Gruppe M intake a few weeks ago and hope to get it this week. I already have a 5zigen Pro Racer A-Spec exhaust and would like to know what my next Mod should be to give me the best bang for buck. Appreciate any feedback. Thanks

Did you have those wheels painted that colour or are the a factory option? If so, powder coated or just a 2pac paint?

I had them completly rebuilt and painted by this guy. He does a great job and not expenssive.

Thanks, unfortunately I'm in Brisbane so he's not a viable option, but I'm definitely going to get it done soon as mine have been sprayed numerous times by previous owner/s and they're awful.

:thumbsup:My Gruppe M intake arrived yesterday so I thought I would install it last night. It took a little over two hours. According to Gruppe M this is a new and improved version which addresses some of the fitment issues that the earlier versions suffered from. After taking it for a drive, all I have to say is that it left me without speech (speechless). The sound and performance is unbelievable and worth every cent.

is the fitment issue that you mention the section where the scoop fits...

coz my scoop and that panel area seems to be coming off.. and when i pop up my hood... it scoop and bonnet scratches... :(

The scuttle (the piece that the scoop clips on to) fits perfectly which I secured to the windscreen with some double sided tape provided. I needed to remove about 2mm's off the right hand side of the scoop with a file to give it good clearance.

You could try a small bead of black silicon. I'll do that if I have any problems later.

All I noticed was light surface rust under rear. No actual rust and no accident history at all. Some small paint touch-ups then again it is a 7 year old car and can be expected I supose.

I got it from xPosed.com.au. $908 plus $180 delivery from Japan. It took less than 2 weeks to arrive. I also purchased the silicon hose from ebay $140 delivered from the UK. This also took less than 2 weeks to arrive. I used contact velcro to fix the intake to the rear panel so no vibrations and easy removal for cleaning.

I’m always open for suggestions. Im thinking of installing a Toda Header or BYP PLM Header. I’m waiting for a call-back from BYP on stock availability. If anyone knows much about either I'd like to hear about it. I don’t mind spending the extra money if it’s worth it for the Toda?

I got them for $1400 including delivery (Sydney Area) That was over $100 cheaper than RHD Japan and it saved me 2-3 weeks at least. Leo is a legend. He can also supply other accesories like K Pro V3 and various brands of engine mounts just to name a few.

Just wondering if anyone has installed a Toda Header into an EP3 before. I found a DIY on getting the old header out but couldnt find anything on putting a Toda in. I have it booked in for install next week at Haks Performance Exhaust but thought if its easy I would do it myself on the weekend.
