My brake is going to the floor and is getting worst
so I think is time for me to replace the BMC
I read about replacing the seals inside the cylinder
or getting a new/2nd hand replacement.

What is the best option and how much ?

The BMC in both my car (DC2) and my gf's car (EG) went a couple of months ago.
The Honda dealers indicated that it could be re-kitted if the bore of the cylinder wasn't scored. They said in their experience in most cases it was best to replace the whole cylinder (yeah I know they probably get more $$$ for it too!! ).

At a Honda dealer my BMC cost $300 to replace (including labour) and my gf's cost just over $400 to replace cos it was a VTi (apparently other EGs are $300 - dont know why).

I think I was quoted ~$150-200 for a re-kit (including labour). Dare I say you could do it a lot cheaper if you did it yourself.

Good luck!

Done that little BMC upgrade last night that i mentioned above, fixed the problem right up, the pedal doens't move at all now.. hopefully it stays this way!

I recommend it to all with BMC problems!
