So today i was with my mate, and he ran a scanner thing on his dc5 and it threw a couples codes.
then he turned to me and said do you want to check your car? and i said yeah but im not sure if its obd2 or 1.
i have a 1999 EK GLI.
can anyone help me to figure out if its obd1 or 2? still a freshie at this AND can someone tell me where to locate the plug? im not to sure where it is, but if seen on here yous put a paper clip in a little plug. could that be the plug that can fit onto the scanner?
