beat by alittle = not EAT.

ON THE OFF-STREET DRAG STRIP a stock Si versus a stock lude vtir - they likely will be similar until say 3rd gear where the extra grunt and high cam will pull the slug of a lude away.

I think the EK vtir will give the lude a very good run for its money - i tend to think the EK4 will actually beat it on all accounts. Remember, its not always peak HP , and displacement :)

but i say vtec is over rated.... i can run faster on foot...

funny u should mention the d vs b series. i drove my first b series car on the wknd, EM1 coupe, and to tell u the truth i wasnt all that impressed by it. i noticed a bit more top end than my single cam vtec and pwer came on heaps smoother..definatley not enough to make me consider a b series swap tho. i say Si civic is the way 2 go :D

well with a good driver a Lude VTIR will go all over the 2 cars..
though a EG SIR b16a will give both them cars a really hard time or beat it.
but EG Si. unless your a reall really good driver it's hard to beat EK4's and preludes

pft civics =P.. .. i personally like the EM1 for looks.. but it is a pretty heavy civic..
eg are light.. and ive seen nicko in his =P.. but as the topic goes stock for stock.. id go for the EK4 i think =P..

but after all is done and everything modded up.. go the DC2 VTir =P...
