DC2R Recaro Seats ... Anyone find the seats tight ??

Hi i just got my DC2R ... and after driving for more then 10mins my the seat kills me... anyone else find them tight?? what can you do to fix this ... its the side bits that are hurting me...

Im not exactly a small person ... im not fat either....

Is there a recaro seat that is abit bigger ? without the side pieces as high ?

they will fit with the correct rails.. i'm not sure whether dc2 rails are a bolt on for the dc5 recaros, but i'm sure u can custom fit it anyway..

they are wider down the bottom and up the top..

I have replica seats and they are more cumfy then real ones
they are made for the wider man

you get used to it... i was in the same position when i first got mine, and i'm a bigger sorta bloke, yet not fat (just ask tofu R etc)... and after a day or 2 of driving, going to anything else just feels weird... :) just wait a week or so and i'm sure you'll be loving them.

lol.... I think if you're over size 34 waist it'll be uncomfortable....

I remember reading all the wheels and motor magazine reviews all complaining about the seats..... that's because they're all lard-ass journalists... ;)

yes jinrai is right. the dc2r once are much tighter than the dc5r's. the area at the bottom (the 'bum area') is much smaller/narrower for the dc2r's. ppl confuses the tightness of dc5r's because the sides tat supports ur legs are actually higher than the dc2r recaros. so if ur bigger in size, recaros in dc5r would be better suit, however to a certain extent if ur larger than wat the seats would fit, it will not b comfortable.

tats why try the seats b4 u actually buy them :)

u did sit in the car n drive around before u bought it.. dint u..? anyway i found it uncomfortable.. i used to fit quite easily , but that was 10kg before.. lol now it 'huggs' me quite snuggly.. im around 75kg so im no fat-arse .. but yea im pretty sure u'll get used to it.. if not sit in a pillow..

They are supposed too be tight, they are supposed to hug you and keep you from moving around :thumbsup:

Man, I wish my seat was tighter! Comming around a corner quickly I have to brace my left leg on the center consol. It's bad when I turn left 'cuz I don't really have any way to brace. :(

Still, my seats are nice and comfy when I'm not driving through the mountains. Heh heh.

i guess is person to person... DC5 ones is ok... luv it.. but isnt it bucket seat meant to be a lil tight?.. so it holds u better when u VTEC every conrner?
