dont think there isnt any..

i have the same problem...

when i had my front kit on...and even with the lip..

the kit got damaged pretty bad scrapping and stuff on drivways and speed bumps

and...well it looks ugly..

i am sure u can put lil foam on the bottom or the bumper or rubber bits.

but they'll look ugly as...

i'd say get rid of the bumper :P

with that u gotta be careful as to they dont stick out from the front...
im pretty sure cops will find a way to defect it cos it can seriously injure pedestrians or the like if u happen to hit them..

but yeah simple effective solution!

but the front bar is quite rounded, can it hang out a little or gotta be pretty much hidden?

yeh just rivet a piece of sheet metal underneath it. don't use bolts because you will just bust the head off the bolts ... use rivets

You don't want to strengthen it up too much though!!! Otherwise the pressure will go from the underneath of the front bar to about mid way and you will see cracks form after a while on the more curvy parts [or weaker parts] of the front bar.
