depends on how deep it is... if it's just in the clear coat/gel coat... yes, it can be repaired. If it's damaged the weave, you're s.o.l.

The clear coat can be removed and resin can be added. The weave can not be patched or repaired without noticable damage. You'll have to redo the clear coat anyway so it's better to take it to the body shop and ask those who will be doing the repair.

yeah it can be repaired.
call into a reputable cycling shop and they'll be able to point you in the right direction. Should be no different to repairing a set of carbon fibre racing wheels.

/\ righto
yes i can be fixed. easy ! grab some plastic cleaner (Mothers brand) n start polishing into it until the marks are gone ! u can light sand it down if u want to, but just polish it up with plastic cleaner for a hard polish ! The one i use is a Mothers brand, its a plastic cleaner n scratch remover all in one. (:
altho it might take a while tho depending how hard u go n stuff LOL especially the weather.

this will only solve cosmetic damage.
if the cut is deep enough to expose the actual fibre/strands then it will need to be repaired professionally. A layer of clear coat won't fix it since you'll need to sand down even further to get it smooth.
carbon fibre strands that are exposed to sunlight will weaken and one day when your leaning on your bonnet it will snap!
the reason why I say go to a cycling store is that cyclist crash during races alot and damage their $2,000 plus carbon wheels. Instead of getting it replaced they get it fixed!
carbon fibre has been used in the cycling industry for a lot longer than in the motor vehicle industry.
good luck :)

wtf when did it get scratched ? i gave that thing to you in perfect nick lol im crying here.
BTW the only way to "repair" would be to sand back and reapply upper coat/resin...will ruin the look
of the CF tho

if there's no damage to the weave itself, it can be repaired to look just like it did before... won't ruin the look or anything.
You'll need to take it to a very competent carbon worker though.
