Timing belt question

im a noob to the forum i would just like to ask how much is a Genuine Honda timing belt for a dc2 (94 teg vtir ) ive seen all different kinds of prices, ive also tried google and i cant get an exact price, i would just like to know how much u guys paid for one.

To give you a rough idea, I just got a major service done at Hanny's Performance in Smithfield (can highly recommend), including timing belt and water pump for $600.
The timing belt and water pump I supplied myself, at a cost of $190, so $790 total

This included Transmission Fluid change, oil+filter change, fuel filter change, coolant change, all relevant seals replaced e.g. valve cover gasket, spark plug gaskets, cam seal plugs etc plus a general checkup.

um might be noob question do u really have to replace water pump
if so when do u change it ? every 100,000kms?

yes its recommended that when changing timing belt also change the waterpump as well

yes its recommended that when changing timing belt also change the waterpump as well

its only recommended to change for convenience to save on labour.

an inspection of the water pump is done when the timing belt is changed.

If needed then it'll be changed.

I was told majority of the pumps are changed at the 200000km service

I just had my belt changed and my pump shown signs of wear so I've requested the mechanic to change it.
