hey ppl
recenty i just changed my tyres and afterwards, i noticed that the gap between the arch and the wheel on the drivers side is significantly larger than the passenger side, does anyone one why this is? the rears are fine and basically have no gap...thanx :)

wait for a bit, it takes a bit of time for it to reset it self.
so it goes back to normal.
when you drive for a bit, it should be fine after that.

hahaha altho i id put really have ikea furniture along the passenger side, uh-oh!
thanx destrukshn, hopefully itll return to normal, if not, ill even it out by puting the same furniture along the drivers side! muahaha

Sounds stupid but check you rear lower control arms and see if one is upside down.

A few years back I was hit in the left quarter panel and when the panel beater reinstalled the left rear lower control arm they installed it upside down. I only really noticed the difference in the gaps between the tyre and fender in the front of the car but not the back. Go figure????

Anyway I notice the control arm was upside down when I was installing my new coilovers. The bolt that connects the bottom of the coilover to the control arm on the lefthand rear would not line up correctly. I spent alot of time and effort trying get that bloody bolt in only to realise the control arm was upside down.

car has to be on an extremely flat surface to be judgin these things

yeah i had something similar, but it happened when i changed shocks.
Make sure that you check on a completely flat level area otherwise one side will be slightly higher.

the tyres would have nothing to do with your suspension changing in height
