Im currently on my way to boosting my EG running a D series motor, urs will be a B series non vtec im assuming. its possible to boost but ask urself some questions first
how much power ur after
whats your budget
have u done ur homework and kno the basic of turboing
i'll set you off first, u'll be looking for a a turbo that has a T3/T4 flange, research why
Most common turbo used for honda (correct me if im wrong)
T25 - quick spool, runs out've puff in the high revs
T25G - very similar to the T25 but slightly bigger
T28 - I would consider this as a good sized turbo for us hondas, gives good power up till high revs
GT28RS - i would recommed this turbo , but it is more pricey then the rest, coz its ball bearing!

then u have ur water lines and oil lines, downpipe, engine management, lower temp spark plugs, intercooler, bov, gauges, etc

i would say give urself a budget and take ur time to find the parts, theres plenty of help on ozhonda :)

i dont know a whole bunch about turboing but i know you need to start with a budget as above.
"I was wondering is it possible to turbo it"
you can turbo anything - on the right budget - but your SI shouldnt be too hard, just flash some $$ values around here and the answers will come

Non of those turbos are actually T3/T4 flange.
Im actually very curious why turbo Honda's use T3/t4?

thanks dude.. but the search wont let me search SI, so i was half stuck. i've read that with turbo you can get more bang for your buck as opposed to a motor conversion, so im guessing round 4gz, aprrox cost of a b16 conversion, on turbo set up?

open to suggestions etc.

power wise, im not after anything flash or specific figures, just something a lil different, so why not a turbo SI.. as 4gz i believe is a fairly low budget, i don't think i could pull too much boost an expect the motor to handle it, so something sensible that wont have me rebuilding a motor every 6 mths:p

not that its not do able for that price
but ur better off not stinging out on parts here
do it right the first time or dont do it at all most the times if u cut corners
somethign will go wrong
and ull end up spending heaps more down the track

its a long process :thumbdwn:
ull be lookin at turbo, injectors , fuel pump n cooler
thats enough to set u back 2 k
then u got ecu and tunning depending on wat u go with and who u go to prices vary

then the fabrication itself

u got the other things like bov, gauges, new clutch: if u have a stock one it will start slippin real soon
it all adds up
