Hey guys,

Just got myself a white EJ8 last week :). The car is in quite good condition will post pics once I get a chance to take some this weekend. Need change the rego to NSW as it was previously registered in ACT. Need fix up the rear bumper as it isnt fitting too well also needs a good wash haha is dirty as. Im planning to change the front bumper to look like the EM1's and the taillight to the red and clear one. Does anyone know where I can source those? Also is it wise to get the car serviced and checked out to see if there is any hidden problems?

Welcome. Probably best to have had the car checked out before you bought it, but worthwhile - especially if it is coming up to a service.

You should be able to find the bumper and taillights through local wreckers or one of the forum traders.

Congrats on the purchase zenny. As Zdster said - it would have been better to have the car checked out prior to purchase. Either way I would recommend all fluids be changed at the next service & a thorough check carried out by a certified mechanic. Oh and lets see some pics.

Will take some pics this weekend after I get it washed :). Would you guys know how to get rid of rust as there seem be a stone chip on the bonnet and it has rusted.

do change the front bumper to an em1, u will need to do a facelift conversion. parts needed are 99-00:
bonnet
front bumper
fenders
headlights
grill
and em1 lip to finish it off

as far as i know, the tail lights r a straight swap over.

crap didnt know I needed to change that man parts, I through it was just a straight swap for the bumper. Guess Ill hold that off for now.
