To buy a Vtec Head block from the US where they made the D17a1 motors with VTEC and fit it to my Aus D17 engine?

you can do it. but it wont be worth it, its not even proper vtec its the economic vtec version.
imo its a waste cos of the cost of postage/shipping.
but if your that despret for vtec get it of the civic Vi they they the vtec that will fit our cars.
