Clutch drops 2 inches then grabs

Hey Guys n Girls,

I just jumped in my car and noticed that my clutch drops down about 2 inches before grabbing in.

Nothing grinds or anything like that and gear changes are fine, it has me thinking that a spring that runs from the clutch to the body work to maintain tension has just come off but then I am new to playing with these so am not sure if it works like that on the DC2

i had this happen on my old dc2 vtir as well, i just topped up the clutch fluid and that fixed it, hope that helps.

Yeah I checked that out and it was a little low and it seems to help it, I find if I pump it, it gets better but still has a bit of play in it.

Far to negative for me, god I hope you're wrong.
Anyway to test this out for sure?

i don't see why fluid could be the problem? Unless its leaking somewhere.

Its your master cylinder. Easy to replace.
