View Full Version : EF CRX SiR seats into EG ?

damn cant believe im asking a noob question ahah
any CRX lovers or EG lovers lol know if these seats fit into a EG chassis ? bolt on or a simply mod to fit them in ?

EF8 rails are different to EG. in other words. wont fit as a direct bolt in. have to mod the seat or the rail to make them line up

No they dont fit at all...

infact i think you should give them to me :thumbsup:

Anyway to the point,

they will not directly bolt in you will more then likely have to mod them in *shakes fist*

Something like this should work,Those are nissan z seats (dont know what model) which were put in a 1st gen crx...

The mounting position's were too far for the stock mounts so they did this

good luck with throwing the seats out :p

to get this to work just use the bar thing as shown drill the hole to the proper distance (as the mounting holes will be longer,shorter,wider) and use use stock mounts

might increase the hight but this may be the easier way to do it :)

lol i havent brought them yet. trying to gather info about how to fit them in, bcos ive seen a foto on HT and he had the seats in his EG. but this was ages ago lol

Damn i was getting my stalking outfit on :(

Ahh also might want to add the base and slider swap

You can just swap the base and slider from one to another and experiment till perfect fitment :thumbsup:

i have a fixed drivers bucket seat, just looking for something for the passenger side that goes with the EG interior :)

the EF seat has a funny mounting position, the rails are not the same height, i believe it's the inner that is lower than the outer.you need to find rails that will adjust the height to be even with the eg floor. goodluck, it's a bitch process.
