JDM concept can now order the J's axel back for around 800bucs, im thinkin of gettin that and get a custom mid pipe from the extrators... only concern is that the j's muffler tends to get louder and louder very soon...

I just got mine exhaust done today. Take the orginal muffler off then have a listen to what's it sounds like, then i decide i will just use a pipe and with a tip for it.
Will try to post pic and sound later.......

I'm thinking about putting a twin tip magnaflow on the civic but got no idea how loud it will go. Anyone know how loud the civic is without a muffler? Will the FD be as loud as any other car?

ive got xforce twin tip muffler and a custom resonator = u can hear it, but not as loud as like tim's car which has xforce twinloop and he fully took the resonator out - if u put a canon any car will be loud though, twin tip is fine i rkn - (without the custom resonator there was almost no sound at all with just twintip xforce btw)

So you reckon just replacing the muffler won't do anything for sound?

i replaced mine.. its louder than oem but not as loud compared to a canon

I think tim's is quite hollow and light and i think it'll be raspy at the top end. If you want deep, try a custom one.

if mugen say it fit, i presume it will fit.
someone ask me on the thread about js racing auto for fd2 whether it fit fd2 manual.
i just spoke to js racing they say they put auto only as they cant find manual fd2 to try on. i presume everyone drive fd2r manual rather than fd2.
i am asking them to verify if the lenght and shape is the same with fd1 muffler that they are selling

304r muffler in stock
titanium order only - we dont plan to stock them as not many people cant afford them. our price is the best already on the market. you can check it out. even then, many people still cant afford it and hence very slow turnover. therefore no point stocking something that people only 'wish' they can buy but not able to buy.

304r is muffler only. special steel. not titanium
titanium is fx series
all design, shape is the same. just one is titanium and the other one is not

so the burnt tip is not titanium?
just "special" steel?
hmmm any difference in performance?
or not really?

burnt tip is just the look
as mentioned. same design = same performance in that sense.
basically js racing come out with 304r becos they realised not everyone can afford their fx series. a lot of people like the burnt look so they make one to suit those budget conscious
they have the titanium series for the muffler.. probably about 900 +
304r is very light. not as light as titanium but still very light compared to normal steel
