DC2 bodykit on EG - lights question + engine questions

ok this is a little wierd but after a bit of fiddling i have these questions

my mate has a EG hatch, i think its a breeze, its so heavily modified from the prevous owned its hard to tell anything, it has a SOHC carby 1.5 motor so i know its nothing fantastic

the car has a aftermarket DC2 bodykit front bar on it with the stock EG lights underneath - i know, strange and pretty bad for the headlights =/

it has DC2 parkers and EG indicators

i want to know if i get a set of DC2 headlights will they bolt into the EG and will the wiring be ok?

also if we were to track down a b16a2 for it, what else do we need for the EFI conversion? fuel tank + lines from what car? and what wiring and ECU etc?

i wish i was there to warn the guy not too buy it... too many ppl get sucked into good looks (orange paint, orange tint, white leather trim, stereo etc) and are blinded that underneath its actually a shit car

not even the engine bay is painted... its still white lol

i have been trying to convince him to get rid of it while he still can and get a EK or something =/

that eg9, looks a bit better, but the door handles (at least the black ones) don't look like the eg ones (eg=more rounded than square ones on that car), maybe its a 4dr teg?????

as for efi conversion, tank, lines, possibly harness for the fuel pump, not sure about eg's but some carbys i've seen (ford/mazda) have the fuel pump on the carby itself rather than the tank. As for the ecu, depends on what engine you are putting in, if it's a B16A, i think the ecu is P30, feel free to correct me and excuse my n00bness if i'm wrong :p

lol thats my mates car...

it doesnt look like that anymore... alot dirtier and the interior fell apart after he bought it... all show... absolutely no go in any aspect - its worst than my mums gli Eg8 imo... doesnt have any electric features... i doubt it has any airbags.. its carby.. the engine bay isnt painted (or touched at all for that matter).. the bodykit was put on dodgy with tec screws... the soundsystem was wired badly... the interior was put together VERY badly (most of it doesnt work or has fallen apart) and it doesnt even have a tacho

dont know what the guy who built it was thinking... =/

if only ppl knew what they were looking for when they are car shopping

i am trying to convince him to cut his losses and build his own car (wish me luck) =/

my question still stands... can we buy some DC2 headlights for it?

it won't align... that was a carmate kit originally designed for the NX coupe.. it's supposed to look like that

1.5L carb makes it a GL

No, its a 94 breeze - they had the 1.5 single carb with no power options. breezes before 94 were all equipped with the 1.3 single carb motor.
The gl has power options (mirrors and windows) and has the 1.5 twin carb motor

yeah it was coz I know the guy that designed it for carmate to make... who also happens to own (owned) the below model car

it was a rip-off of some integra bodykit (Bomex i think). those dual light holes are simply supposed to go over standard oval lights to give the "integra look".

admittedly I WAS considering the kit when i had the NX, and the DC4 light assemblies i bought at a wrecker did not align to the holes by a few centimetres...

even if you did mod it to fit them in, you would have to custom mount the headlights on the EG.

there is a standard template just for the headlights that are implemented into the entire bumper mould.

look at the pic in POST#4, the light assy would have to be custom mounted to the outside a bit more to align with the holes since the oval lights are more inwards...
