Headunit problem

i recently installed a headunit, the problem is the eject button works but the headunit wont turn on. Could this be a wiring error ? or headunit error ?

Is it a brand new HU? Have you seen it working before? How did you wire it up?
Check all your connections and colour coding first, if they are OK it is probably the head unit.

well if your getting power for the headunit to eject the cd im guessing it could be a faulty head unit but double check your wiring and if its all correct something wrong with the HU

This may sound insignificant but the same thing happened to me and I was freaking out; until I hit the "reset" button.

yeah try holding the reset button... with a pin...
