Hello ozhonda members I previously own a EG turbo civic, then making a costly decision to go turbo with a nissan 180sx. I'm once again in the market for a honda. I have a Honda Integra with a CRV motor in mind. But still weighting between with the VTiR.
Could anyone update me with the pros and cons???
CRV or VTiR Integra??
obviously both have great protental but which one has the stronger foundation for a strong NA build.
Thank you in advance.

By CRV motor, do you mean a B20? as in CRV bottom end, and B16 head?

B18c VTiR
Pros : VTiR's come equipped with the B18c VTEC motor & there's alot of "off the shelf " engine performance parts
Cons: VTiR's B18c will have more k's (and possibly more wear depending on history) than a B20 from a CRV
B20 Teg
Pros : larger displacement adding more torque & lower k's as mentioned.
Cons : No VTEC, but as ricki pointed out with the installation of a B16a head and associated internal/external mods, you can turn your B20 into a VTEC monster, adding more power & torque than what a Type R B18c will have in standard trim, and in some cases even more than a modified Type R B18c, depending on build quality, tuning & of course support system (after-market performance pats)
There both great engines & make power in modified form, just depends if you, or someone else wants to do some tinkering (B20 VTEC)
Have a look at ZEFORCE'S B20 build in the " Build threads" if you decide to go that route.

thanks for the deep insight Jarkz.
from what your saying and with my itchy hands and no sense for saving im gonna go with the B20. Sounds like it has a much strong foundation for LARGER plans.
