I have personally got the Injen. Was bought by my best mate when he owned the car but i helped him install it and now i bought the car.

Its great! The pod is out of sight, and can hardly see the stainless steel piping either! The sound is just unreal. And from what my mate said, the improved acceleration was enormous.

I highly recommend it. You can find it Here at JDM Yard. (http://www.jdmyard.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=177_186&osCsid=38c5c2a511e43e8910261925bc5bd26b) an for $495, its an awesome price!

Several threads have been made about this topic, please do a search in future.

The outcome from all of them is as follows

Replace OEM panel filter and do "hondata" airbox mod - If your planning on getting a new intake in the future this is a good mod to get a little bit of power, louder vtec and costs less then $100.
K&N Typoon (or anything simular) - Cheap and nasty without the correct heat shield
Injen - Best bang for buck aftermarket intake for DC5r
Mugen, Gruppe M etc - Expensive intake for the brand whores (and people that are scared the injen will suck water into there engines)

A5set has summarised the main points well . Injen is definitely bang for buck.

Just don't get a hot air intake.

Out of interest my dc5 with 60mm exhaust and Gruppe M and a friend's dc5 with 65mm exhaust and Injen made nearly identical power on a dyno day a while back.

Just curious as to what power it made?

LOL
For the Injen, you can get the hydroshield for a some peace of mind. However, it is not waterproof, yet being "weatherproof". Dyno proven not to lose any power. No loss of sound I've noticed either. But its pretty exy for a cover.
