Nice rims!
Are the stock accessories or other? They look different to the ones offered on the AU Honda site.
Actually they look like the accessory 15" rims which look good. All you need are yellow calipers :)

thank you guys for the appreciation
this is our first car and i did a week of internet research, visiting 3 dealers and numerous phone enquiries before final deciding where/what/when and how to buy hehehe
i asked for a VTi drive away and then asked the salesman to add the sports grille, rear spoiler, alloy wheels, tint, mat and bluetooth system. after haggling with the salesman and GM... the prices went like this:
$25100(driveaway) + almost $3K(accessories) --> $24500(his offer) --> $23900 or $23700(my offer - if i'm lucky hehehe and the salesman went to GM's office) --> $25700(GM's offer telling me i was quoted the wrong price for the accessories - i went into a short outburst of ) --> $24000 flat(salesman minus the GM calmed me down with this final price and we got a deal )
oh, and i also got 3 big sturdy umbrellas :) when i picked up the car but no :honda: keychain for me :(

my dealer told me today that compared to the 1st Gen yellow Jazz, a lot of people are buying the yellow one from the latest 2nd Gen Jazz (i'm one of those) and also the blue ones...
oh, and one more thing... i'll post my :car:'s pix tomorrow hehehe :D

31-10-2008, 08:24 PM
the new jazz to me there is too similar between the Vti & VTi-S model, i was struggling to tell which model was which, where as the previous model there was a very obvious difference in the bodykit of the Vti-S compare to the vti.
dyljoy
31-10-2008, 08:34 PM
so i am prefer pick VTI with mugen kit over VTIS.

is there something out there (other than a steering wheel cover) to care for urethane steering wheels? my frends civic wheel has that icky feeling compared to leather wrapped steering wheels. its one of those personal things that make it hard for me to choose between a vti and a vtis

i think worth it or not just depend urself. IMO, i got vti over vtis coz those bodykit and cruise control are not big issue to me, and I would like to save the extra to get nicer bodykit and rim, even sound system, so i pick vti instead.

So I was driving past my local dealer today and noticed a Cerelean Blue Metallic Honda Jazz 09 parked outside.
I thought cool. Then I had a double take. The roof looked like it had a Moonroof on it!
I turned my car around to check it out.

http://xs433.xs.to/xs433/08476/photo-0137800.png
It turned out to be an aftermarket high spec sun roof. It's longer than the normal sun roofs. It also has a two part split if you look at the second photo you can see a faint line on the black.
Not a bad option if you love sunroofs.

lol rusted rotors - quite weird for such a flawless car. nice pics though
^^ It might not be rust. It could be brake pad material deposited on the rotor. Rust is usually consistent over the whole swept area of a rotor.
In the tropics, rotors show signs of rust within hours of not using a car. It has no effect on the performance of the brakes.

I might consider the Mugen replica (MR Style) from the site you recommended instead. Would like to see a proper photo of first. The one on the site is of the original I think. I like it, but it's less 'euro' and it's for my gf, so I'm not sure she'll like it. But the price tage is a lot nicer. Will have to sleep on it for now.
My poor GTI might not have any mods for a while. =(

all the brochures ive read say its still got "magic seats", and i mean it always was the jazz's big selling point was its awesome seats.. so i doubt they got rid of it.. enless of course they did just so they can reuse parts on the new honda city :p

Depends what you mean by flat. They do fold right down almost flat, and the weight of whatever you put there will make it flat.
The only cars that have a truly flat floor require you to fold the seat cushion forward to achieve this (eg Mitsubishi Colt, most wagons). The Jazz drops the seat cushion towards the floor so you can achieve almost the same thing with a single one hand movement. This is made possible by putting the fuel tank under the front seats, thus leaving space for the seat cushion to drop into. It's very quick and easy to use. In the GE you don't even need to remove the headrests first.
It's a lot better than the Mazda 2 that leaves you with a step in the floor, or the Toyota Yaris that has a gap.

I'm thinking Moonroof will never make it to Australia, but I think VSA should be in next revision but that will probably only be at end of 2010 I reckon.
What's the time frame between each revision for the GDs?
If I end up getting one before the revision, which is likely.. we'll both be caught out. :p
