Hi guys, I recently bought a rear lip for my EK4 (hatch) type R style. I've attempted to install it with double sided tape and it didnt really work well because theres a little gap between the bumper and the lip.. so i tried to overlap the tape to make it thicker so the bumper and lip have contact... "pretty dodegy job in my personal opinion haha". Umm the Lip came with long bolts and screws... that I heard Im suppose to drill hole from the bumper and lip. I think that might be the best way to do it, but didnt want to do it because the bolts would be visible... Just wondering whats the best way to get them installed? Heard theres some special glue you use... but not sure where I can get them.. or if they are reliable. If there are DIY links it would be great =]

This is what it looks like now.. with double sided tape and screws on the each sides... I've notice it doesnt fix perfectly on each corner and needs to be pushed up... Any sugguestions would be great. Thanks in advance.

Ive got one from jdmyard as well. theyre replicas so you cant expect them to fit perfect. mine doesnt sit all the way up but its close enough. i only have a screw on either side, no tape or anything to hold up the middle.

I see watcha mean that helpes a lot =]

mine is probably replica.

The screws on the side parts.. Im thinking bout bending them back somehow to make them fix more perfectly... But dont know how to heat them up to bend them... I thought bout a hair drier but.. doubt that will work haha
any ideas?

to hold up the middle bit... what I did was got myself some 15mm self tapering screws, then push that lip up as far as it'll go, and screwed it in... attach the bottom screws before you attach the ends to the bumper... it's easier that way... also, get someone to help hold it in place...
