Roof out of alignment
Hi I just installed new strikers it’s easy but the latch matches the drivers side but the passenger side is too far towards the driver’s side, I need to pull it across to get it in there and latching this side is very tight but drivers is almost lose. I have tried loosening the latches and strikers a bit but it’s still not right. I have also tried the rubber screws that you can adjust when the top is down (when the roof is down reach inside the brushes and you will feel the roof limit screws) Help would be great cause it’s a bit difficult at the moment. I will try and get photos as its hard to explain.

Are you sure you're adjusting those limit scews correctly? when I was adjusting my roof after installing a new one, I thought I remembered having to remove the plastic panels that cover those screws to fully adust them while the top is closed

They're annoying little things to adjust with, but it's the only way you can get the latches to marry up with where they're meant to be. Don't bother trying to adjust the latches, I tried that and failed since they're fixed into one spot. You'd be surprised how much these screws can make a difference!

Thanks. I will try removing the plastic coverings ect behind the seat to see if I can adjust with the roof up, that would make it easier than putting the roof up and down 100 times trying to get it right. PS that made my battery go flat hahaha

so can i just clear this up.... this screw adjustment is to bring the top closer to the windscreen before you clip the latches? the problem im having is that even though ive put the roof up as far as it will go, i still have to physically pull it an extra 3 to 4 cms before i can latch it down to the strikers
does this screw fix this?
thanks again
