Is it ok to oil ratchets? to make it smoother...

hey guys just wondering if it is ok to oil up my ratchet because i want it to go smoother...

lol you should become friends with my ex-work mate he has snap on only, roll cab + top box + side box ....

i made the mistake of WD40'ing hte head of my dads ratchet doing DIY as a 8 year old on my bike. Worked great for another 20 minutes then went all clunky and shite on me lol

so its a no go to oil your ratchets ?

If your ratchet doesn't have warranty, then take it apart using a circlip remover, clean the insides with proper stuff and then regrease it back up with something like grey lithium grease.

Haha, golden. That's because WD40 is better as a cleaner than it is as a lube! It is great for dissolving grease.

yes nothing like a shit rachet fkin up on you when you're undoing a particularly difficult nut in tight spaces.
