Arent they all 60mm?

Nothing to do with piping size, its the resonators and muffler design.
Compared to RM01A it felt more restrictive.
Different ppl got different opinion towards specific parts.. so its really up to personal preference.
The differences would be minimal im sure, couple of KW here and there...where or who did everyone get their RM01As from? $1300 from JDM yard seems like a fair bit..is that about right?
$1300 is reasonable, Fujitsubo is high quality products, they are worth every cent IMO.
I would try full Js racing exhaust for my next Honda ride.
Stock exhaust FTW!!!!
Seriously Im a big fan of RM01A as I have been used for all my honda cars.
But since I looked and tested my friend's TODA catback. Im totally fall in love with it. So far I have friends running full toda on EP3 and S2K..I really love the Js racing design tip which is abit towards the ground as well as the titanium tip finish. very sexy catback and its not loud below 3000RPM its loud once vtec kick in.
very similar pricing. i like the bent burnt tip aswell
i saw musecret site, it says 1270

Hey guys anyone know if the rm01a is a straight bolt on ?? would it b a great idea to purchase a metal hi flow cat aswell ?? i was thinking of getting a rm01a and butting it up to the jdm headers for the meantime, would that need any modifications doing that ??
bolt on!
also i found the rm01a for sale here
http://www.nengun.com/fujitsubo/rm-01a

i sent a enquiry of one being deleivered to my door ill get back to here when i get a reply :)
It does say on there website that a dc5r rm01a DELEIVERED is AU $ 992.83

search toda catback. its just over 1k delivered. but customs is bound to hit you
edit here- http://www.nengun.com/toda/exhaust-system
I would buy from local due to saving hassles plus warranty issue.
my rm-01a has just been shipped from japan, only placed order a week ago so super fast service. cost me $1235 delivered including terrible exchange rate through paypal which added about $40 to the $1235 price.
they are also helping me out with customs and invoice amount for it so couldn't be happier.
pm me if anyone wants to know where from.(not nengun or any of traders on here)
talking about exhaust, rm01a seems to have a very good feedback from most of you.
Have anyone got any review on the j's racing full system performance wise?
Most probably i will get them since i like their sound a lot and its lightweight material.
Now, i am at the stage to decide which piping size is better. 60mm or 70mm?
looking at j racing website the 70mm is a straight pipe free flow system and the system includes the 2-1 reception desk pipe. whereas 60mm, i have to buy the pipe separately. so at the end of the day i will be paying the same amount of $$$ between 60mm n 70mm
any input from you guys would be appreciated.
hey,, i want to get a EP3. where can i go to get one?
there are a few cars on carsales.
or you can try IMG where a few people here got their cars from and their feedback has generally been positive.
how much u guys gettin out of the tank?
any ideas on the tank capacity?
50 litre tank, whenever i fill up it only takes about 45 max.
Been getting about 400 - 450 per tank
could it possibly be a 50+ litre tank? i filled up wen the light just popped on and i could dump in 47litres.
surely the light not gonna warn me wen ive only got 5-3litres in the tank? lol
last couple of tanks ive been getting just over 500kms
mmm all the manuals and specs say 50 litres but have heard otherwise from ppl's experiences.
I can usually go another 60 odd k's after fuel light has come on and it still only takes about 45 litres so who knows really.
In terms of per tank.... i drive the car mmm hard should we say lol
hahaha its a lovely car
still on my first full tank so i dunno lol.
anyone put a different front sway bar on their car yet? i'm looking at neuspeed front and rear at the moment. any feedback?
Why is neuspeed shit?
And what makes cusco the one to go for?
I would like to hear your reason rather than blurted out statements like you have made with the majority of your posts.
Neuspeed have been around for about 50years..
What makes you call them shit?
I like Cusco also but it's ignorant to discard other brands as simply shit with no evidence or reasoning..
Are you looking for fights?
Has nothing to do with arguing, from what I can see you cant provide a proper answer to all your statements.
You should remain silent because you're only making yourself look like a fool with comments & statements you cannot back up.
And me the little boy? lol whos the e thug that wants to start a fight lol.
You look like a pacific police man and every single reply and comment from member seems like you are very interested in and would like to give shit on it.
Go to louge and spam as many as you can. keep this EP3 discussion thread clean..
cheers. END OF DISCUSSION! PEACE!
Pacific police man? wtf? You're a god damn fob arent you lol.
Can you at least reply to the other thread to why you think +43 is the best offset for track, daily etc and how on earth you think +43 will clear spoon calipers?
Since you replied so much here might as well reply there as well..
here is the link just in case you are too mentally challenged to find it :

Stock sussy FTWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW
Come on guys keep it to pm!
I have the Civic Type R Hyper Rev and the four different "well known" tuners appear to use four different sussy setups.
Goes to show that not one is better than the other. Just what suits you particular set up....ie Shocks, suspension, brakes etc......
Mr Chi and Kongfu man just kiss and make up. Just agree to disagree :)
I am fairly certain that Chi does not want to come to Melbourne to have a fight, however if you would prefer to discuss, in person, your ideas regarding the tuning of Honda motor cars I am available at any future clubITR cruise you might care to attend. I think he only asks that you back up your comments with some sort of empirical evidence. If you do not do so you have no cause get butthurt when someone questions them.
Arbitrary comments have no place on a forum so you must present a sufficient argument for us to believe you, something beyond "This brand is mad tyte yo and you should buy it."
Okay guy.
Also to contribute to the topic at hand any swaybar that fits an AUDM DC5 will fit an EP3R so look for reviews from DC5 owners. I personally like my stock sways, although I have considered removing my front sway bar, but they are only part of a complete suspension package so it is hard to evaluate a sway bar on its own.
Its both.
JDM DC5R is the same as EP3R and AUDM DC5R for the rear.
But front is different.
Where is a few differnt way to get rid of the understeer,
e.g fitting 17 x 9 Front and 17 x 8 for the rear,
thats a popular mods in U.S for DC5.
btw, Neuspeed is a very good company to me and i belive they know thier stuff better then others company badged as " HONDA SPECIALIST " in the state... but anyway ..... To me Cusco is another decent company who makes alot of decent suspension parts, are they the best? I dont think so... atleast for our EP3R.....what about H&R? as far as I know H&R makes one of the best sway bar in the world....if i have to choose one, I would go for H&R all day long, so its really up to personal perference..
Having wheel to fit the SPOON brakes is not really the offset...is base on the " X-Factor " of the wheels, I got 42+ wheels on my car now it clear my SPOON monoblock by 2mm. So higher offset DOES NOT MEAN IT WONT CLEAR SPOON BRAKES.
I have seen some wheel in lower offset 30+ with a very small xfactor ( deep dish ) it wont even clear the S15 stock small 4 pot.
anyway...just my 2 cents....
Good point......and all depends what you want from ur sway too.....some ppl reckon 25mm is overkill but if you dun run it on track then no point to get a thicker sway anywayz.......but for track its all depends on how you setup ur footwork and different alingment setup as well......thicker sway not equal to better handling......I use cusco both front and rear and I think it matches my mono flex with my alingment setup well....but its just me......
i run the car on the track so that's why I am wanting to upgrade sway bars. The ep3 comes with a 22mm factory rear sway and H&R make a 22mm one as an upgrade as the u.s civic and ukdm ep3 come with 18mm factory sway so no point to get one. the front is a lot thicker as H&R make a 27mm as opposed to factory 22mm but i want to get rid of understeer.
The other option i am thinking is to get a 27mm front sway from H&R/Cusco/Neuspeed and get a 25mm rear one from cusco(dc5r sway same fitment). Only problem i can think of is if H&R designed their bar on the u.s civic/ukdm ep3 meaning it will have an issue clearing aftermarket headers?
For anyone who's interested, this Wednesday 2/7 WSID :)

Nice , which one did u get?
Hey Chi,do you know if it's possible to change the rear engine mount on Dc5 without a hoist?
I've done the left and right but haven't attempted the rear yet.Looks tricky
Thx
You can just jack it up onto jack stands and use the jack to support the engine.
How ever you may ned to remove the Exhaust manifold to access the Rear mount.
what's good stiffer engine mounts to go for?
mugen? Innovative? does engine dampers work well?
my car is mainly for street use and would appreciate to keep NVH to as low as possible.
thanks
Anyway guys i think i will be going for the full TODA exhaust system...do you think it will be worthwhile to maybe get an Apexi Neo, then get it tuned at TODA ?
Just wondering, does Toda 4-2-1 header manifold come as a 2 pieces or 1 piece system ? thanks
TODA supplies a catalytic converter to match the header
:) ...............not headers come with a new cat. Especially the Toda ones!
This was only mentioned a couple of pages back. Here it is in a nut shell!
Toda race header, no cat.
Its a de-cat design.
You have two (2) choices, actually three (3) :)
1) Cut the flex on header and weld you existing cat to it. Ball flange still provides flex.
2) Have Toda install the header with a hi-flow cat for about $1900ish.
3) Get you own hi-flow cat and have it fitted!
Thanks for the explanation bro... make much more sense to me now.
To be honest, i have ordered j's racing full system last week but deep inside, i still have some dilemma between the 2 brands, toda n j's.
with j's header, as it come as a 2 piece system, i still have to use the stock 2-1 cat piping and not sure if thats going to compromise the overall performance. finger crossed... the only way is to test it out...
How much KW did you make out of the TODA?
122kw with Toda seems not very impressive..
Would of expected more
