not only guy, a few guys but
my question is, was it the same case with you when you installed these coilovers on your ep3r? as in the front left coilover installed showed massive toe out angle which rendered the car undrivable, and adjusting the toe angle back to alignment would be dangerous as the adjusting the toe that far to be aligned would leave little thread connected to the tie rods which can potentially disconnect during driving.
My mech actually thinks these coilovers i bought arent even for the ep3r as the suspension geometry went overly wonky after installation.

hey guys do you know where i can get part number for driver side rubber moulding?(the whole frame rubber moulding not the window sill rubber garnish) ----(i will take a pic tomorow and upload here to be more clear tomorrow)
edit: i think its called door sash trim or rubber dam? the moulding that runs alongside the door pillars etc.

when the coilovers were put it on it was pretty much like plug and play, had to adjust the tie rod ends abit to reach the coilovers but thats about it. when my car got defected i took them off to put the stock suspension on and changed it over again after the defect was gone and it was like normal.
took a ride in my mates ep3 with gruppe M
and i must say it is TOTALLY different compared to my mugen...
i want one...
Would the be dc5r coilovers maybe?
there are people running DC5 coilovers in EP3 without much trouble. i'd think the problem is bigger than that.

need to cut up a bit ...and the other problem is really hard to close the hood since mugen hood is hard to close even with stock grille...
are you going to put the red H on the grill? seems funny without it but not sure how the bigger FL badge will look.

thats not an oem SI cluster, it's some cheesy british cluster called "plasma gauges"

oh yeah I remember now they use to do that on the ek clusters.
The only thing I don't like is that the redline is much lower cause it an SI
just called RACV for a quote for ep3r. ridiculous prices. my dads rating 1 for life and my name as a secondary driver would cost $2000 p.a (WITH A $2000 excess)
any suggestions? this headache in getting insurance is putting me off buying a ep3r if its impossible to afford!

tried shannons although said i need to have over 5years driving experience (which i dont have)
just cars quoted me 1.6k pa with an excess of 2.3k @ fault lol.

looking for new tyres and need some advice,
is it wise to go from 205/45/17 to 215/45/17 ??
wheel is thus bigger and does that mean slower start off? is the difference really that big?
I did it. 205 to 215. Difference isn't too noticeable - I notice there is more flex in the tyre when cornering however the comfort was a lot better (could've also been due to new tyres compared to my old worn ones). Didn't notice too much in terms of slower start off.
i'd go 215/45/17 as its a common size which means more choice and cheaper.
JDM DC5R runs 215/45 from factory.
See those foggies he has in the Mugen front lip, what are those? Anyone know?

It should bring it with in 2-4kph under actual speedo reading. Should'nt change anything in terms of margin for error as speeding is bad......mmmmmmmmkay!
silly question about tyres can you just slap on 215s onto our oem wheels? since its better than 205 and i want better tyres than what i was given...

Yeah 215 will fit 7" rims. as i said Honda fitted 215 tyres on 7" rims for JDM DC5R.
guys....what are the SMALLEST rims you can fit on OEM EP3 brake size/knuckles etc ?
Considering options later on and wondering if slicks will sit on 16s or even 15's on those big brakes
but they got 4x100 and smaller disc, im sure 16's is the smallest
tyres from option 1 garage in qld, kumho ku31 215/45/17 for $98 cheap cheap and there good for the price u pay, imo better then g3's ive used before
i'd rather be paying arond $50 more for KU36,

Ku31's not bad man. :D Better in the wet and slightly worse in the dry than KU36 but still not bad. (From my experience) Got them on my wheel at the moment for daily / street driving, I'll just think about later on whether I'll use them at the track.

hey has anyone got the buddy club short shifter on their car? any difference since chancing gears is already short?
I was told you wont notice a huge difference.
I've been thinking of getting the shifter as well, since theres play in the urethane ball joint that I would hope a new shifter removes.
ive decided to keep the car, hopefully k24 bottom end soon :) hope it boogys, probably drive it to sydney for dr honda to tune it aswell. melbourne tuners aint the best...

Personally I don't like them, however if you had a black ep3 imo they would look very nice.
guys i think my ep3 is getting ****ed... long drives feels like something is wrong with the car like theres heavy vibrations or something rattling on the drivers side and i can feel it through the steering wheel. searched up steering rack and yeah i dont know where the tie rod is at to even have a look at. just going through 1st-> 2nd rattles, happens during 4th aswell, it aint the rattling from my gruppe m cause im so use to it now. mechanic doesnt know the problem cause i couldnt get it to rattle when i took it there.

ok so i checked both engine mounts seems fine, is tie rod or whatever located near the suspensions?
Checked spark plugs, check oil level?
have you checked your control arm bushings?
on a side note, the tie rod ends boot are easily split too. I've changed both of mine
