That can't be +17 offset...
My TE37's are +30 and it's poking out in the front...
i didnt think so either. but there is nothing on the rim to indicate width or offset. so im just going off what my mate says since they are his but he bought them off someone else lol so hes just going off what the previous seller said lol
Surprisingly no. I would've thought he'd d*ck me for the wheels but it was just for height. "Did you know you are low? Wayyyy too low actually....." And my tints caught his attention too, he checked them, 31%.
Homo fag of a senior constable..... Minor defect BUT, the pig gave me a fine for driving a lowered car.
LoL, Stevo, heaps of neg camber is sexy....i miss the -4.5 days....made ppl go WTFBBQ...hahaha
man minor is better, id rather a minor rather major. You seem to have bad luck lots with the 5-0....west side must be crap.
Freddy......so when u gonna head down the insane fitment route? =P
Chicks dig static lol.
Seriously i got to go get some then
hey guys, need some help.. I installed my willwood big brake kit (330mm) and my enkie rp03SBC dont fit anymore... :(
anyone know what sort of wheels or offset i should be running..
current enkei's
17x7 +45 i think wrapped in nitto invo tires 225/45/17.. (tried 6mm slip on spacers and still hit face of calipers)
was thinking to get some SSR type C wheels
Front -2.5
Rear -2.1 ....ish
my car is odd....haha
mine are 215/40/18 front and 225/40/18 rear.
rears are spot on, fronts id like a bit more stretch like a 205/40/18
work seeker cx's, they are about 8+ years old
way discontinued haha
hi there didnt want to make a new thread so im gonna put my concern here.
just wondering if a 18 x 8.5 + 45 offset on all 4 wheels

^ that is what i call fitment
I've got exact same size/offet on my CL9. It'll fit just fine. You'ld find that the wheels may seem to stick out a bit, but it's actually flush with your guards. Will def have to lower it though. 225/40/18 will fit 8.5" just fine, but will give a tiny bit of stretch.
thanks for your help chaos master!
Simple question. Increasing the size/width of my wheels seems to have increased my turning circle. This normal? Why's it happen?
Could be the change in track. Idono. But do note that the turning circle rating on the CL9's own brochure shows that the Lux on 17" had a 0.1m larger turning circle than the base on 16". Most sports cars with wide tyres also have terrible turning circles, although they do tend to have faster steering.
What do yall think of Konigs?
Konig Feather 17x7.5 +45:

This is what it looks like on the car... but i'll be getting 17's tho.

negative! plus i think it will be more sunken in rather then flush as it appears on the photo. get them spoke ones u always see on the evos xxr soemthing soemthing
Xxr 527?
You mean xxr 522? 17x8 +48?
Somehow i dunno how much that's better consider its got even more offset.
I am thinking of gettings XXR wheels link and tyre size 225/40-18. Would I need to roll my guards and buy camberkits?
Hi all. What needs to be done to fit 16x8 with 0 offset? Already got 18x8 +37 front, 18x9 +32 rear with just the rear guards rolled. Seen these 16x8's for a great price, so need to know how much work needed to make them fit. Thanks.
friend of mine is asking if 17x9 +35 will fit on stock height euro? imo i think it wont lol??
Hey guys, do you think 18x8.5 +29 front and 18x9.5 +37 rear will fit without doing extreme modification running on 225/40/R18, so far i've rolled my guard both front and rear, also going to place a rear camber kit
depends how low you are. Though the 8.5, id say run 215 instead. Will need to roll the fronts more so its like a bit of a pull/flare if your tucking tire or plan to and thats with a front camber kit at about -2.2
Rears on 225 is fine, remove the rear bumper tab and relocate it if you want and bit of negative camber ( -2 or more ) and you will be right.
my car approximately 14-16cm high from the ground measuring at the bottom of the front bumper, is it still recommended to have camber at the front
how many finger gap is that between tire and fender?
Id say yes to front camber kit because if its just natural front camber, it will bearely be anything and will poke out quite a bit and look sorta odd.
actually, no the front wont look too bad sorry. Just run 215 at the front and it should be mint. 225 is a bit meaty and could give u rubbing issues while in motion.
Okay, Thanks for the advice
Am i too optimistic in thinking of trying to fit a 10" +21 on the rear of a bagged euro?
New Set Up.. Lip to guard front and rear.. =)

I like that a lot better than the tucked look
hi guys, need abit of a hand with wheel measurements,
my brother has CU2 now he wants wheels, hes intrested in D1r's and rota P45R2
im not sure what i can fit under there... i have read this thread for a while now and im more confuzed lol
but what i can gather is 8"-8.5" front and 9"-9.5" back should be ok with gaurd rolling. offsets roughly 30-35 can someone confirm this so i can buy the poor bugga some wheels hes been waiting for 2 months now lol
Hey mate. This guys has the willwood calipers. He is running +25. http://www.tsxclub.com/forums/tsx-mo...cing-gear.html
just cause I know nothing about offsets....
looking at a set of wheels
Front: 18x7 +40
Rear: 18x8 +52
would I need any nip tucks to make it fit?
+52 seems a bit high in the offsets but you should need any nip n tuck
Yeah it'll be too sunk in. Try and go for max +40 with a 8" or even 9" width for that near flush look.
im running 18x8 +35 in the rears, still looks sunked in, i might go staggered and buy 2 18x9+ 25 for the rears. lol
yer 9.5 +25 is what i'd call the perfect balance between good specs and not having to run insane camber :)
19x10 +0 Rear

..(n)...
thats rediculous!! love it.
How do you find the overall driveability of the car with those wheels/fitment?...I've been thinking about a set of 19" rotiforms, but i don't think i could live with myself if i shelled out afew grand for a set of rims and couldn't relax while driving
Wow mamamia, exactly same spec but mine is red lug nuts and your car is better with the drop and obviously you have Euro R body kit which mine is not.

Quick question.
Front: 17x7.5 +40 (dont think theres problems there)
Rear: 17x8 +32 (not sure about those)
comments?
What exactly are you worried about Fredoops? If it's scrubbing then you have nothing to worry about!
Nah, Im not in the flush crowd so i just don't want anything to poke out,
Thats fine then, ain't no poking happening there.
@xanctus, since then, i've readjusted the coils to get rid of the scrubbing, but will be readjusting it tomorrow once again. haha
the kit is the 06-08 mudulo kit. (one you get from the stealerships)
what coils are you running. also any scrubbing/rubbing at that height?
what camber are you running at the rears?
Will 17x9 koya drift tek rims fit, my cl9 at stock height?
I want to lower it later down the track, I know I will have to roll the guards then.
Hey my setup is exactly like this. Same wheels, same specs and I am selling the wheels too :) I have Yokohama S-drive tyres on all four (very good tyres) the setup cost me $4.5k. But im selling for pretty cheap :) let me know if anyone is interested your car would end up looking like this white one! My mobile is 0435617225.
Hey mate,
I am lowered with just spring. Since I bought 2nd hand from a junk yard, I don't know the brand nor the mm of dropping.
Interestingly it is not rubbing at all and many comments that I should lower it even more to look good, which I agree but as a daily car and family car, I am happy where it is now.
What offset should I get? I wanna run 17x8 on the front and 17x9 on the back. Will I have to roll the guards or anything at stock height. Maybe lowering later on.
What offset depends on the look your after and your budget as you usually gotta pay to get the specific offset your after. A +40 of +45 would be widely available on a lot of after market wheels out there and you wouldn't need to roll guards for that.
If you're after a nice flush look I think +35 front, +30 rear would be ideal for the widths you mentioned, but in this case lowering is a must to complete the look and you would definitely need roll the guards.
Hope that helps.
18x8.5 +35 all round - would that fit fine with natural camber? Do I need to do anything else besides rolling my guards?
If I go 18x8 all round, what's the highest offset you could go before having to roll guards etc.
I heard for Euro's it should be between +45-55 but some people have 38 without rolling guards?
how low is your car?
I've had 8+30 on mine with stock suspension and it fit fine. 8+35 will have 11mm less inner clearance but will have 1mm more inner clearance than the stock 17x7+55. So it should fit.
I would put them on and see if the natural camber tucks them in. If not, just get an adjustable camber kit.
It's not lowered yet but I will be getting an Eibach pro kit with Koni Yellows
