maybe take your coils off the car
I can't get the LCA up high enough to bolt onto the coils if i do it that way. Oh and then also there's the issue of not being able to fit the damn wheel up in the arch to screw them on. FFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU--------------------
Use a jack and jack up the lca
Got all 4 in, rear left and rear right are same height but for some reason front left is 1cm lower than front right with the same thread length.
shaved bay more and painted it

I have the exact same issue. I imagine it comes down to small differences in parts/tolerancing between the two sides. Just measure hub to guard and you'll be fine. My mate was having the same problem with his gtr too.
In other news, I adjusted the valve clearances on my poor old d15 (340000ks) runs a load better. Recommend this to anyone who hasn't had it done in the last 50-100000 ks
Got a good DIY for valve clearances?
Took it for petrol, scrubbing hard on all 4 corners. Only time it's not making sounds is driving straight on a perfectly smooth road.
Was gonna get the rears rolled and raise the front half an inch. Will this solve my problems ya think?

Sitting still, the tyre is about 5mm from the guard. Thought coilovers would be stiff enough so that they wouldn't have much travel
When ya free bro?
it varies, call me to book in a cavity search.
i think if you roll the front and rear you shouldnt have any scrubbing issues at that height.
I had a look and it seems the front it's scrubbing on the fender lining not the actual guard. Might try and sand it down or cut it a bit, don't really wanna take it all out.
The point of it is to stop dirt/water splashing into your engine bay and to protect the wiring/loom shit?
dropped this in

Ideally leave them in whenever possible. I don't and rarely have but you probably look after your car better than I do lol and they are there for a purpose. I also think the car as a whole looks neater when they're on. Ive never had loom issues without them myself although on cars Ive owned in the past that weren't shy of a dirt road the stray rocks can knock out high spots on your fenders. Can also easily happen with road use.
One method Ive used in the past is sourcing liners from another car with suitable concave shape somewhere in its design. Cut the problem area out on Car A making allowance for the concave shape from Car B to fit. Keep all the cuts clean, even both sides, well finished off with a 20mm overlap. Throw in around 4-6 pop rivets with a little Sikaflex on the faces that meet up to seal them. I used plastic rivets but aluminium should be fine if you want to paint them. Done correctly you'll have a nice gap and no more scrubbing. If done right it can be a pain. If done roughly, well your probably just better off ripping them out lol I wouldn't do it again but I was pretty full on with the car I did it too and it worked a treat.
All that being said have you had the wheel off and looked around the chassis? You'll see patches of bare metal if it is scrubbing in there as mine is.
The green machine is well over the top. Kudos 89lude. Makes me want to dig into my pockets for just..one...more ...build when I see work like that lol

I had a set of anodised jets a few years back but even Google says they don't exist anymore lol. They were easily blocked and pretty useless after a while but the looked pretty sweet.
OT Changed the fluids then fecked it :o
I did however finish restoring my Om16's last week and its now got a full set of matching rims for the first time in god knows how long. Was planning on buying my paint this week but today's events pretty much put that off till next week :(

Fixed up my big brake upgrade :( 2 1/2 days of research days off and so on, finally figured that if you run to big of a caliper your pedal travel is going to be further lol
EG got written off about 16 months ago due to hail damage... since then i've had an AE102R Corolla, Subaru Sherpa, Suzuki Sierra and a Nissan Skyline GTS-T and now back in a civic again... looked for an EG but hard to find good cleans ones - was easy about 6 months ago...
I swapped my valve cover today too. Damn I should've went wrinkle black, red looks too orangey lol

Thanks man, is all in the prep.. degreased, sanded then washed twice withwax and solvent remover before painting, then left it to bake in the sun on 36 degree day over concrete.
Yeah all stock, obd0.. ecu is socketted but just running stock program.
Red valve cover looks good, when in engine bay it wont look so bright.. good job on the masking og the plug holes etc, i was lazy n just painted the lot minus the oil filler hole and the underside obviously.
Wired up VTEC in my B16A2 EG swap. Oh yes yes yes.
Installed NGK ignition leads to replace the stock ones. Also bought new genuine Eg front and rear mud flaps
Thought about it.. Poor banana car :(
Rest in currentlybentbutstillalive peace.
Well the stock leads I had on were quite old.. so the difference I've found is how well the car turns on and runs, its so dam smooth like new. It used to take a few cranks and be a touch rough. For the price though you cant really go wrong.. This is also paired with new NGK plugs.
sprayed my interior
