What sets us apart from say Japan and the US is that they have a very strong car community.... ie they'll work and live around cars where for us it is a secondary thing. i got m and m honda engine damper aswell as the front top strut i installed it 2day.
im still using stock engine mounts
After the damper installed the car felt better taking off and changing gears. car doesnt hop as much aswell

i just uninstalled the m and m honda engine damper and still left my front strut on and the noise rattling problem has dissappeared :| is there a certain way u have to setup the engine damper correctly ?? isnt it just the case of installing it in and tightening it up ??

Just confirming that EP3R's also use mcpherson struts at the front and double wishbone at the the back like DC5's. :thumbsup:
Yep they are MacPherson struts, but I think the EP3 has a shorter wheel base.
Some people say the EP3 over steers more easily than the DC5R because of this.

My J's torque damper rattled like no tomorrow between shifts and sometimes at idle. It definitely did something however because without it my gruppe M had a tendency to jump out of its allotted slot in the windscreen cowl with engine movement. The AUDM DC5R should be similar to the EP3R due to not having the JDM hub set up which sits out further.

i believe i see one of you guys everyday on Motorway #3. I drive from south to north for work, and every morning i see a CW ep3 opposite me head to south area.
i reckon there are quiet a few more ep3's out there then the ones here on ozhonda. It would b good to tell every ep3 owner out there about ozhonda and this thread because it would b awesome to keep incontact with one another mainly for problems and the solution and sourcing of parts. Also its good to learn from 1 another aswell :)

i have been getting a rattle as well since putting on the rm-01a but didn't think it would be this as it sounds like it is coming from the front right somewhere but will try rubber mounts to see if it solves it.
Had the car on the dyno yesterday to see how it was going after putting on a gruppe m and the rm-01a, got a free vafc 2 so put that in and got it to adjust a/f ratios to make car is running safely till i get KPro. I was happy with the result considering it was run on a dyno known to read average as opposed to inflated figures, managed to squeeze 12 more hp at top end and the car rockets through vtec now. Will put graph up when get the chance.
