i just got an exedy sports organic clutch installed about 2,200km ago. couldnt be more happier. just too bad i didnt have enough money to get a toda or any lightweight flywheel at the time too.
edit: by the way, does anyone know how ORC (ones jdmyard are selling apparently 'race proven') compared to exedy clutches? anyone here running ORC clutch in their ep3?
Nice nice. Same - I've had it in for about 300kms sofar - hard to not slip it and get a nice burnt clutch smell when reversing or pivoting on my driveway.
How long did take for the clutch to start gripping ?

from what ive observed and remembered i stopped getting that awful burnt clutch smell (even when driving normally) only recently at about 1800km onwards. the clutch has always gripped well, far more superior compared to oem. if youre talking about when 1st gear became easier to use from my experiences id say 1000km onwards.

Your head lights must of been replace over due to compliance issues. But your correct standard EP3's do come with HID's.

both running a 17x9 +35 all round, white ep is running 245/40/17's! the silver 235/45/17's...
the 17x8.5 +30 will retract by 1mm & have 11mm more inner clearance
i'll be running a 17x9 +30, once I get all my stuff on! got the tires all fitted up today, using my existing 215/45/17's though.
The front looks passable though the rear is pretty dodgy looking to me. I'm not one of those "MAD STANCE, FULLY SLAMMED KENTS"
It seems like +40 offset would be optimal if you want to run 8.5" but the rims I'm looking at are +30 so I don't have that flexibility..
(A previous EP3 owner had 17x8.5 +40 TE37s that cleared barely..)
I'll just see how big of a difference that extra 10mm spacing makes.. =\
i think 8.5 +35 clears but if your dropping may have to rolls. different wheels diff clearance?

The header being slip jointed seems to leak a little though not significantly. It also gets better as it warms up.
I got a metal cat welded in as well and got a chance to do a hub dyno run.
Car has Gruppe M, RM01a and the KiddRacing header.
Now, I don't know how power changed before and after the dyno and I haven't had a chance to drag with other EP3's but the car FEELS a little better.
It made 144.9KW atw which going by what others are getting, seems pretty high even if its on a hub dyno.

Well, the header was cut right after the collector, cat welded in and then the end of the test pipe was used with a o2 sensor mount being relocated to the rear. Cat + welding cost more than the header itself, but I'm happy.
