I thought the rears would be able to clear wider wheels?
If not then would

Front - 17X9 +42 with 245/40/17
Rears - 17X8 +45 with 225/45/17
Clear? If not what kind of modifications would I need to clear it?

Don't jump to conclusions assuming I brought the wheels to fit my car.
I brought them cause they were dirt cheap; if they fit then it would be a bonus, if not then I would just make some money off it.
