BC BR is pretty good, using them on my EP3 and now DC5R

really?? thats bad, try to go to another dealer. If i still work at Honda, i can find out the part number for you. I have other part numbers, but just not the bushings.
maybe the guy there is new, and dunno what to do. ask him to go to Hondaweb and post an enquiry under 'import enquiry' and type in the VIn (in your case its EP3-xxxxx) and part description and quantity. and they will get back to him with the part number, price and availabilty.
JohnO which brand of bush is that?
the oem ones
thats cheap

Anyone out drivin around????
Maybe soon. You?
Wanna go for a drive but don't know where to
I just installed my FUJITA CAI last night :). I think I have fallen in love again :).
But I think I cut the hole in the fender a little bit too big.... Water can splash onto the filter.... Can you guys post some photos of what your CAI look like.
Also do you guys know any EP3 wrecked so maybe I can get another front left fender plastic wheel arch thing?
Wakefield first time in the ep tomorrow wish me
Luck la ! Hope i thrash my 1.13xx pb on road tyres - somehow
Think i will destroy only nangkangs !
Its probably around half the size of A4 page (A5 size). But I wouldn't have been able to fit the pod without cutting that big because the back section (bottom of the filter, plastic part) is sticking into the wheel arch by like 1cm.
I've attached a sheet of plastic to cover the hole.
How big is your hole?
get some new shoes! that was my plan till I got mounts to fix and bushings to replace and some dre beats earphones. =(
btw guys 165 for a set of lca bushings is reasonably priced right?
Nah don't think i will get an ECU anytime soon. I don't even have headers yet.
I was thinking about getting rims but.... i want 17x8 so i need a camber kit. How much are camber kits for EP3? Should I just go for coilovers with camber adjustment?
Re Fujita, just use duct tape to tape over the holes. I used this for the 3 years I had the car and it was still nice and tight when I took them off to take out the CAI. Get the heavy duty ones at bunnings.
Will need camber and guards rolled.
Would 17x8.5 +30 fit front and rear with stock susp? I was thinking more like +40 was necessary?
If anyones after a Haltech

Has anyone got any hub dyno figures for our cars with I/H/E?
Anyone know where to source out a FGK Legalis R catback or mugen front lip for EP3 besides from nengun or jdmconcept?
drove a mates ep3r and i notice that there is no crossover. the cars standard.
if he was to purchase an injen cai would there be a crossover notice.
geez, so there is a crossover? standard. i ripped first and second. no different note.
ps when we checked his oil level it was low or close to nothing. top it up. should it be alright now?
should be, let it warm up properly then try again lol
hopefully, he just brought it and i told him crossover should be decent, my pervious dc5r stock with just injen screamed.
if we cant notice it. what other problems will we be facing?
will test tomorrow and let you know. thanks fellas.
Do any of you guys know if dedy at top one puts in full synthetic oil when servicing? I think he put in some valvoline 15w30.
Checked my oil today and it was down to half way so i thought i should probably top it up.
What oil should i use to top it up?
Interesting Lukezen, coz my car made 144.9KW on a hub dyno with I/H/E, and was faster than a kpro tuned dc5 (jdm engine) with basically the same I/H/E parts.
I'm wondering if my car has some mild cams done by the previous owner in Japan.
yeh man car was warmed up, didnt check the oil levels till today so im hoping it was just the low oil. tbh i didnt feel much differences, besides maybe abit quicker on the revs till 8100.but yeh no noticable crossover.
jibz- so there is no sound difference.
is there a crossover sound on a jdm k20a?. abit confused now.
Hmm.. I got 152.3kw on a hubcentric dyno with just GruppeM and a tune (if you can call it that) on a VAFC2.

Symphorced --- I have tuned a couple of ep3 on the dyno and your reading is very good. Congrats on a good tune.
How many kilometres has it done and how often do you vtec it? It also seems like your burning quite a lot of oil, so for maybe next service go for a slightly higher grade. I normally use full syn 5w30 and my car barely burns any oil. Check what type of oil it is before you top it up, like if its full, semi or mineral base oil.
Would recommend the new Cusco Engine oil Fully synthetic 5w-40. Will post up the Apexi AFC Neo tune as well using the same oil tomorrow. Have to get to work tomorrow and print out from the Dynapack CPU.
Ok, so maybe I don't have cams :P, perhaps a REALLY healthy engine? will see when the Kpro goes in. Just felt there must be something different because when dragging other EP3's/DC5's I'm usually quite a lot faster with similar or (supposedly) less mods.
All EP3's are JDM K20A here. Honda did a good job on engineering the airbox's resonance chambers to silence the intake sound. you can try a Hondata airbox mod to see if that makes it a bit louder (involves cutting the main partition of the airbox to make one large chamber instead of two). Otherwise, going with a Injen will be guaranteed loud cross over.

Ahhhh, the bottom one!
If you are going to top up, you must top it up with the EXACT same oil. You can't mix oil brand or oil with different viscosity. Reason for that is because different oil have different additives and the effects of mixing them is unknown.
How many kms have you travelled since your last service with dedy?
Well guys cluch is on the way out...slipping in the higher gears. Does anyone have the spoon or mugen clutch? I know alot of you run the exedy, just wondering whether cost is the main reason for that.
How many kms on your ep3?
I doubt spoon/mugen is that much better. Most of the $$$ spent is towards the branding imo.
How's fuel economy going for you luke?
can anyone tell me the part number for ep3 oem window visors?
Cheer
hey ben how'd you go on the track?
I'd doubt mugen spoon would use anything other than remodelled exedy parts. Then whack a hefty price tag on it. Most of us choose exedy sport cause it does the job at a decent price.
1) First is with Jap brand exhaust and air filter and v-afc

2) Second is stock EP3 with V-AFC\

Also had a dyno day bout 18mths ago at my dyno for the hondatech forum. not a single honda car passed the 180hp mark on the same dyno. Of course you can say environmental factors do come in.
Also please note: my Dynpack is newest one here in Western Australia.
Have fun debating!
3000km. But heard VTEC does eat alot of oil. Maybe i should take my own oil next time or do you think valvoline at dedy is good enough? Maybe buy some off dedy to top off the oil inbetween services?
BTW i just installed my Fujita intake on sat night. I can definately hear when the VTEC crossover on the stock box.... The crossover with CAI sounds like a dump of air getting sucked into the engine, its like a 1 loud subwoofer DOOF! :)
What oil do you guys use in your EP3? Brand and viscosity?
First service = mobil 1 5w30. Second service = penrite enviro 5w30. Always full synthetic. Hondas new feo is also 5w30 full syn, so maybe some of you guys can try that.
castrol edge 5w30, two services done with it so far on the ep
and seems like my oil burning has reduced a lot since my fresh spark plugs were put in the last oil change... 16 days since the oil/plug change and no drop in my oil level... prior to that I was topping up approx 200ml every few weeks.
