id like to try a dead stock evo around a track like wakefield.....personally think modding these things puts them greatly out of whack/balance and makes them all straight line power and shite in the corners.
What if they did more suspension work and bracing Ben?

Never heard of OMNI before?? Where do you hide out?? It is def worth a try.. You will not be disappointed, i promise you..
If i remember correctly, both Flicks EG and Monty's JDM Concept/J's Racing DC5R both ran with this...
You can get an OEM one for less than that. Bet it will last better than that aftermarket one. Just saying.

Just a quick question guys. Do you know anywhere I can get the passenger air bag inflator from? I can't pass pink slip.
Can anyone recommend some alignment settings for hitting the track on the EP3?
Figures I was thinking of were:
Front:
-2 degrees camber
slight toe out (but I am unsure how many degree's)
Rear:
approx -1 to -1.5 degrees camber
0 toe
Height: will be about a 20mm gap between the tyre and guards

its time to service the ep3... just wondering which coolants would you recommend i use ? and whats a good injector cleaner?
For injectors you can get them clean professionally for around 25 bucks each. If your looking for an additive try the Nulon Total fuel system cleaner.
For the coolant are you planning to professionally flush the whole thing out or not? If not which colour is it? Dont mix different colour coolants together. Normally for coolants there are 2 main colours. Green or red. For green there will be 2 types, type a or b. Type a will be better since it has anti boil, anti rust and anti freeze while type b will only have anti boil? Red coolant are generally better than the green coolants. However i've also heard that honda started to make a blue coolant which is currently one of the best in the market. If you dont wanna spend that much stick with Nulon green coolant, ive been using it and it's running fine. If your interested just pm me cause i think i have some left.

Honda's blue coolant cost around 50ish. It's what they use in their new Hondas.
My 2002 EP3 had green coolant. Radiator fan will turn on like mad every minute. Flushed it to the blue Honda coolant. Radiator fan turns on every 10minutes instead.
Goes to show the Honda fluid have greatly improved over its previous green fluid. It wasn't just a colour change.

Have not yet. It probably already has the blue one. My temp guage shows the operating temperature is normally between 87 and 96c.
Only traffic jams, I have seen instances of 103c which is when the radiator fan kicks in.
Oil temp so far average around mid 90s on normal drives. Peak of 103c on with 10min of hard driving. Not sure how it does on wakefield yet but I'm hoping doesn't see 120c too reguarly.

Bit confused on how I should run the Valve Cover tube that normally circulates from the airbox to the Valve Cover. Can I block it? Let it vent to the atmosphere? Or get a filter? Should it run back into the intake like on the airbox?

I have read through a far bit of stuff, a lot of different set ups floating around. But can't find a definitive answer of how to correctly set it up.
Is it okay if I have blocked it?
I read through this: are breather filter bad?? Which was probably the most detail description I could find. Doesn't mention anything about blocking it though, or maybe I am reading it wrong.
I've seen little pod filters that just stick on to it on many k swaps so im pretty sure you can use that to fill the hole.

my mechanic said he blocked that hole on his old DC5R track car with no problem. i never tried tho.
Thanks for the info guys. I'll most likely extend metal intake pipe I have inside and screw a nipple onto it, then run the hose back into the intake. But for now I'll unblock it and dummy up a filter.

correct this pipe , sucks filtered air from the intake arm to the cam cover , which gets circulated around the head and gets sucked down past the pistons and back into the inlet manifold via the PCV system.
Guys please try and run like the OEM setup - IE run a pipe from the cam cover to the intake arm.
If you run a filter on the camcover - be weary that you can get defected for it (emissions based i believe)

Anyone know where I can source eye bolts (for a harness) for the EP3??? Having a hard time finding any online. Either in M10 1.25, UNC 16 1/4-20, UNF 24 1/4-20. I think they are the equivalent bolt size and thread pitches in the imperial measurements.

Clayton and Revolution race gear are quite close to me. I might head down in the next few weeks to see what they have.
I emailed a local bolt supplier last night, which had the right sized bolt. They were nice enough to call me back today advising me that there eye bolts weren't suited, as they were not high tensile. Oh well at least they were nice enough to call!
are you going to drill holes on your chassis to fit those eyebolts?
that's the proper way but i wasn't game enough.... hehe
If i can find the correct sized bolts, I was going to simply use the existing seat mount holes at the front and the seat belt buckles from the rear. Yeah, drilling through the chassis isn't something I'd want to do. But then again I have done it before to mount rollcages! (I don't know, there is just something about the EP3 that makes me not want to go drilling holes/cutting stuff here and there.)
*** Ahh! Awesome, I just received a call from GMP racing products (I emailed them last night). The chap their confirmed that they do have a new batch of the m10, 1.25 ones in stock. He said they're around $10 bucks each. He wasn't 100% sure they're the 1.25 pitch though, but I told him I'd go in and match it to my bolt anyway. I might head down on Saturday.

apparently you're suppose to change these cabin filters every 35,000km - 50,000km :)
I don't think the filter can be washed... lol well my old one I replace was all soggy and dirty~
New one from AutoOne is cheap anyway :)

I bought pair of facelifted headlamps from the UK. They are apparently the non HID version which uses a H1 bulb. My car currently has HIDS fitted presumably D2s. Can I buy a H1 bulb to plug into the ballast to make it work?
Otherwise I'd have to ship it back and the HID version is out of production according to Honda

The plastics clips that hold in the front splash guards are the same bumper clips that i've posted earlier on. Just search up honda bumper clips on ebay and you'll find them

Hi guys, I am having problem with my car alarm. Trying to get some help here. I have a Mongoose M80 series in my EP3. Until recently, my alarm cant be armed after driving/ starting of engine. It will take at least 30 seconds of non stop spamming on the arm button to lock the car (arm the alarm). However, i left the car for 10 minues and i dont have any problem arming or disarming the car if i dont start the engine/drive around. Then i decided to start the engine for like 2 minutes and turn it off and the same problem appears again. What would the problem be? Could it be my battery running low and it wouldnt support the alarm and the engine right after driving due to the distribution of power around? I am just guessing. Could someone please help me.
