Agreed. Although, they'd be the bottom of the extreme summer performance class IMO. But it is definitely cheaper - other tyres if bought from shops would be $300 a corner. So best value for money. Unless you want to import from the states like I did....managed to get a set of z1 Star-specs for $600 shipped. Fantastic tyre.
You could technically settle for any tyre you want. It really depends how you drive your car - like a hairdresser (what is vtec?) or racer (want heaps of corner-g's, heaps of grip, late braking). hahaha
I like the Toyo T1R. Good grip, great price - about $600.00 per set and work all the way down to the limiters. Great tyre in the wet, drove em hard last winter up through the snow covered hills and they worked ace.
im running yokohama C drive
$265 each.
they seem pretty good 2 me...very grippy even in the wet
i just picked up bridgestone adrenaline's (re001) for the rears, 209 fitted and balanced per corner
Hey guys just one last question :) for the OEM rims, could i put an offset of 225/50 R16 front and back? or will it be bad.. thx :D
Offset has nothing to do with the tyres.
Short answer no it won't be bad, non-staggered tyre set ups are common. You might find it steers a little slower and/or feels less planted in the rear on power out. But over all it won't make much of a difference unless your really on it.
lol always finding my mistakes :P SHIIIT ok well ill just ask u on msn next time :)
