Excellent job man, im glad this DIY helped ya with your install
how long do you think it would take for a first time diy? the only thing i have ever done is change wheels haha installing cai is a whole new level for me...
Great write up this will help when I install my cai.
This may be a stupid question, but this can effectively be a short ram without the long section of pipe right? Attaching the filter to the end of the small pipe near the battery? Thanks.
I believe this intake can be converted to a short ram without a problem. In this case you would only need to use one of the piping and attach the end of the filter onto the pipe.
Thor; This was my first ever mod, not even changing wheels LOL. I have never touched anything in the engine bay, i have never changed my fluids tbh!
This is a relatively easy mod if you know what you're doing. This took about 3 hours cos it was my first and couldnt get the intake resonator bolt off cos of the tight space and how hard it was on there.
As long as you know the basic about cars you should be alright. Just take your time and you will have it done in no time. Alot of people who do these DIY's are mostly first timers anyway.
Yes as to what 3RotaRX said it is possible to convert the Injen CAI to RAM. That's one of the good things about the Injen CAI systems. If you need any help let us know.
anyone know where i can buy the exact panel fasteners for the front bumper will most likely bust a few haha
You mean those plastic clips? Aka bitch clips haha
yeah haha i will definitely break a few want to be prepared haha
I bought these here: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/5x-Honda-...item415f47377b
I only bought these because they were the only ones in Australia. I really needed them quick so had no choice but to pay a high price for 5x....
