It's up to you. The manual transmission is meant to be sealed and you won't lose transmission fluid. The synchros do wear and so do the gears when running in (and when shifting hard), so there will be a build up of metal particles. I'd do mine every 2 years or after every track day. If I drive hard, then every year if I felt like it.Quote:

you can't really compare overseas prices to Australia. Sure the dollar might be close to each other, but every country has their own taxes and import regulations. It may be a simple case of NZ being able to import parts from their factory in at a much cheaper rate than australia would. And did you try different dealers there to compare too? Or just one NZ dealer price vs. 4 syd prices?
Sydney is more expensive. Even servicing in Melb is cheaper.Quote:

Yup, for my 2 year service, my car was only at 30,000km. So the valve clearance check was postponed to the next service closer to 40,000km on the odometer. So the cost of the 40,000km service dropped to $210.Quote:

other than HONDA actually there are so many good places to servicing, but they dont stamp ur history tho! that's why it's cheaper..
