its your offset/width that is the issue. Try some 15 inch wheels if you can borrow/use and see if that gets the same effect.
hmm iC, well then i'll consult my mechi again ask him for 15 inch wheels to try on. you know anyone/places that sell some dirt cheap alloy 15 or 16 inch wheels.
I cant afford anything more atm lol, supercheap friggin 15 inch alloys with tyres, used maybe. At least those will give me a less rough ride. 17 inch low profile quite noisy on bumpier roads.
ONCE everything is sorted out i can really enjoy the car. ATM it is all "!@$@@!!!!! RAHHHHHHH RAGE"
keep an eye out on the FS section - there are plenty of 15 and 16" wheels FS.
car has a nice ride height btw.
um since im nooby lol, 15 inch wheels wont be low profile tyres and thus still have the same total diameter as 17 inch with low profiles right? hehe. i cant imagine 15 inch with low profiles haha, that wud be funny.
Slightly less overall circumference.
they will be larger profile ( 50 or 55) but they will be narrower , and better offset. So chances are they will not scrub.
What size are your tyres? Might fix the problem by putting smaller tyres on too?
I paid $850 for my Koni yellows (for a CB7 Accord, the 'asking price' was $950). Not to worry, they're worth $1200 in handling, so if you look at it the right way (with a squint through rose coloured glasses) you didn't get ripped off!
If your mechanic doesn't think bump stops are necessary he's obviously a fool, find another mechanic.
Decent price for the best
Id sell my first unborn child for a set of original koni's atm :o
As the above poster said if your mechanic thinks bumpstops arent necessary leave him....
Believe me the bump stops will make a huge difference...
if your after 15's get some oem 15". like they all said you wheels are the biggest problem.
btw have u still got the splash guards? you should cut the splash guard up and cover the empty part where the door hinges are visible, to stop dirt and rust man.
