The CL9 one before is arund $300-$400 USD. So maybe (or hopefully) around that price...
heya folks! sorry to hijack, but can u load your CU2 pics on the thread below on my signature?
thanks!
i just found this website
http://www.nengun.com/mugen/accord-ventilated-visor
seems to be the cheapest around they have the grille too for cheap.
only problem is their shipping is expensive
$100 for the grill and about $60 for the visors :S
Hey cheers for that site mate!
Is that $100 aussie bucks? If so, thats still the cheapest around i think!
Wonder if they do cheaper postage if everything is combined, rear lip, skirts, front lip and grill. Their prices for painted is pretty reasonable too!
Has anyone had experience with getting painted parts shipped? I'm just concerned about the paint getting some major scratches because of it rubbing against the packing materials!
That is for the CU2 as it shows CU2 under Vehicle compatiblity.
The shipping is expensive if that's in AUD or USD.
I got the Mugen visors and grill shipped from Hong Kong for $800.
check out this web site www.supergt.com.hk
I don't think they have grill in stock and would need to order them
the only one i could find was at the same price including shipping $110ish
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tchlink:top:en
if you find another cheaper one let me know....thanks coz i'm still in the process of waiting for mine
p.s for anyone who wants one part no. for 2.4L accord = 33.2402
yeh the prices are fantastic but the shipping is a bit ridiculous i believe.
Youngster's hk site has the visors for a little more expensive, but after shipping, its cheaper lol
and im pretty sure the prices are in aussie dollars because when i registered they asked for currency denomination.
however it just goes to show the margin of profit there is. So if i got my dad to ship them over when he goes to china he can prob get it cheap and also ship it cheap. the problem lies in where to order it from in china...
when the importers get it, do they buy at some special traders price or do they import at the japanese listed price on the mugen website?
hey guys
got the cu2 about 2 months ago, im currently building up a sound system that i am going to put in it. It is half bought just need more money. It will include 2 sets of 6.5 splits, a set of 6x9's, replacing the 8inch sub in the parcel tray with a better brand, and 3 subs in a custom made bos in the boot. I am also buying chrome 20's in about a month and lowering it a bit. I just need the money lol but who doesnt. So far ive put 35% tints on it and super white LED parkers, look great at night. Ill post up some pics when i have time to take them.
cheers
Can one of you guys drag your CU2? Or start doing some more hardcore performance mods? I'm dying to see what the CU2 is capable of :D
im looking to change my ugly yellow parkers to LEDs but have no idea which type to buy or where to buy from
I always shop at deal extreme cause theyre cheap:
http://dealextreme.com/products.dx/category.712
but i dont noe the correct type of bulb to buy?
can someone browse that page and point to the right one? and see if its good or not as well.
or direct me to any shops that sell them cheaper than dealextreme.
im also after some number plate Led bulbs too.
thanks :)
*edit* someone just told me it might be T10 type, but i have no idea what that means???
If you still dont know what T10 is, google it or search for it on ebay
thanks for that list!
are these the right ones? "wedge" bulbs
http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.16097
http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.5789
second one is only $2 but one bulb so i dont think it will be bright enough
but the first one is a pack of 2 for $8.95 is that considered cheap or standard for LED parkers?
has anyone considered the takeda intake? i've seen alot of them on the acurazine forums, and i found it on ebay for US$329,...what are your thoughts?
has anyone got the The Eibach Pro-Kit from Yonas? if so whats the ride like compared to stock?
nice work youngster ,heard they are pretty good...make sure u put some pics up ye? i'm 90% sure about them but i just wanna noe how much a drop u get once in..cheers man
Will do aaron...I will take before and after shots and post them up.
Install is happening this Sat arvo, so i will try to put them up that night or on Monday...
I was going to get the Tein coilovers for CU2 but with the Yen being so low, it would of cost too much landed here in Aust.
Tein coilovers would of been nice but Eibach will do just fine for now.
nice man much appreciated, ye i was also considering the teins, but from mrheeltoe a dealer in america on the acurazine forums. Only one guy has them so far on his acura tsx 09 so it would be pretty gun to get a set here...but i still want the soft ride for now
hey youngster bro, where will you install it?
aaron : I would of loved to have got the Tein coilovers but it will just have to wait for now.
denot : Getting it installed at Top One Auto tomorrow arvo.
I've got the Mugen grill and visor on it already.
Doing the car up slowly...
2Nd Mod done, Tein SS fitted on my Cu2
nice work, ye pics would b good, have u had a full load of passengers at the rear? any issues? are you still on the stock 18''?
don't have time to get a pic yet sorry lol, but it's roughly about a 1 finger gap fron't back, but it almost looks like there isn't any, pretty good height, and that is the standard height on the manual apparently
and yes, i'm still on 18 inch stock wheels, thinking about a new set of 18 or 19 in the near future
ride is awesome, on stock settings, which from what i can remember was something like 6 - 10 clicks back from the hardest, forgot which one exactly, it's just a little more stiffer than stock you only really notice it on big bumps, on small lil road surface bumps, its excellent cause the car doesn't bounce up and down. cornering is nice, higher speed and the car holds excellent and it's not even that stiff :)
youngster hows the eibachs going, im dying to find out i wanna get a set already lol ><
Eibach springs installed last Sat and i love it.
Handling is great, ride comfort is awesome and it has a very nice drop.
I left the car at Heasmans so they can do the alignment first thing in the morning.
Dedy will be collecting my car from Heasmans and it will be back at Top One tomorrow afternoon.
I won't be there until 8pm tomorrow to collect the car, so you can come down and have a look.
Sorry i didn't get to take any pics but when i give it a nice clean, i will post some up.
Oh man... Too bad i cant make it last sat. :( hope i can com around tuesday nite when u pick ur car up...
saw the car today
very modest drop..not too low
my cup of tea
Picked up the car today after the alignment was done.
I'm not sure if it will scrub or not but i should know in a few weeks as i will be carrying 3 people in the back seat for a trip down the coast.
I will let you know how it goes.
I was running late to pick up the car from TopOne tonight and sorry to the person who came down and waited for me.
Dedy told me his name was Mikhael????????
Hi, is me.
Ya, I was planning to meet you up at topone around 8pm. But have to leave earlier as I have some other things to do.
Saw your car sitting there very nicely. Good drop, cool mugen grille and the door visor (issit mugen visor?), the tint is quite dark as well.
The place is quite dark, so couldn't take any photo. Will wait for you to post after the clean up.
fair enough, well i bought a set today couldn't wait any longer lol, should be getting them installed tomorrow =)
mikhaelnen : Sorry i was planning to come around 8 but got stuck somewhere.
Yes it's a Mugen visor and the tint is 15%.
If you're planning to get the eibach springs and wanna know how the ride is, let me know and we can meet up and i can take you for a spin.
aaron : Let us know what you think when you installed the springs.
Thanks in advance, youngster.
Too bad I couldnt go there as well :( post some pics youngster! very keen to see how your car looks like...
got a set of the eibach pro-kits installed today! sweeet ride height so comfy and looks sweet not to low, heads up to yonas @ jdm yard for the sale =)
Good to hear people have good feedback after the installation of pro-kit. Anyone try the eibach sportline before?
Also, does anyone know where to get the following Honda Japan OEM accessories (window visor, exhaust) in AUS?
hey michael:
Exhaust:

Visor
http://1xlrhg.bay.livefilestore.com/...P_aS1TQ/01.jpg
I think the visor is OEM honda, dunno about the exhaust. maybe it just an OEM exhaust tip accessories?
Thanks, denot
I couldn't get it to attach in the post, dunno why. Thank you very much anyway.
^^ no worries michael, you just need to add "[IMG][/IMG]" between the image link
e.g. "" (of course without the double quote :p)
Just a few shots of my car, not serious mod, but original accessories. Comments welcome.

OEM kit looks great! Pity it costs so much.
looks hot!!!
Haha, it looks like my car! The back bumper is noticeably darker than the rest :p
I love the sports kit + grill
Grill = :thumbsup:
I don't understand why you said rear bumper is darker...??
The fact is that photos were taken in different angels, hence the lighting condition is different, and i think the reflection also contribute to it. Haha, should photoshop it before posting. :)
Thanks heaps for the comments.
^^^ true2... but still its a clean car! not a fans of the colour though :p
Haha, i actually like the white/blue better. But, because i don't want my parents to know that i traded in the old euro, and i have told them that i got a silver car previously, so I have to get a silver euro. Dodgy idea heh. :)
Issit worth to get it painted?
Looks great mikhaelnen,
Original chrome grill looks better imo this one is abit too sporty.
Nicest CU2 on here imo,
A neat set of wheels and a little lower will look beautiful..
Great colour too!
Thanks Rudy, IV23VI
