Anyone know of any companies that will pick up a non rolling shell? Have a stripped ed here and need it gone. No wheels or suspension or hubs etc, just shell. Has quarter panels, doors, mirrors, rear bar, hatch, swaybar, 2.5" catback plus loads of interior bits if someone wants them? Pm me

Changed oil, filter, valve cover gasket, spark plugs today, car starts sooo much better. Doesn't splutter anymore and no more oil coming out of exhaust, yay!
where did you grab your valve cover gasket? never had time to change mine. sealant needed?
Just got it off egay man. Easier than waiting to autobarn to order. yeah, only reason I had to change it is because the last owner tried to put it back on after paint valve cover faggot red, and fuked it up. Just sealant around the corners and a light smear on the straights for piece of mind :P

boys boys boys, got an offer today to buy an ef9 wreck off a mate of a mate.
It has some pretty bad front end damage - not a repairable matter but the engine still runs. everything from the mirrors back is in pretty good nick (including the interior).

For me interior is worth a big if you look at prices on ebay or yahoo auction, if the a/c panel ha no cracks worth about 200, and any other JDM goodies are worth something to someone
Plus you got all the parts for rear disc swap and bigger front disc too but check before to use the front hubs yo see if there not bent or broken

The motor and gearbox may look and be ok, but after crush like that there will be some damage to block or gearbox housing cracks maybe

anyone know how much B16A and B18CRs are? i used to see them for sale all the time, now i cant even find one.
i can get all the conversion parts quite readily, but im unsure where to look for an engine.
There use to me alot of engines for sale in the for parts section on ozhomo, but havent seen much in ages..
In qld bout 2k for full b16 package, b18c2 = 2.5-3, japspec b18 = 6k
Add extra 1-3k and getvk series with another 10k on top of the halfcut lol

TBH the reason why he wants that much for the b16 in that EF9 is because it's OBD0 and cable driven. Doing a hydraulic conversion isn't easy, there are kits, but most are developed for LHD and there are hasport ones which still use cable (but often snap).
On another note, I'll buy the cluster and the cluster housing for $100?

haha when you actually do it you'll see, hush performance is still developing RHD, which is probably impossible as where the clutch pedal pivots is too shallow and will hit the top. If you try and order the kit off Hush, there is no option to ship to Australia once you click checkout (cos' it doesn't work with RHD)
As with the sonem EF, same deal, how these kits work is that they mount the clutch MC facing towards the driver therefore pushing the pin towards the driver rather than towards the engine bay. However, as I mentioned before in this post, where our clutch pedals pivot, there is not enough room to even mount a CMC on to do a true cable to hydro conversion. So what I did was I cut the firewall and mounted the CMC on the firewall.

Picked up a whole lot of goodies off tiksie today. Top bloke. Going abroad for a week but when I get back I'm gonna convert it to EFI and chuck in a zc. Researching if turbo is an option - they seem to yield pretty good results with basic upgrades. Anyone comment?
Yeah noticed my right rear had a shake and checked it and the bushes where shot. Cant remember the brand thats going in but the mounts i got are hasport which the car needed but will update when i get the car back.
