Would look funny on a stock height car though
yo, what's the wheel width and Offset for stock OEM honda civic 2011 vti-l models? Trying to input into a tyre calculator
16x6.5 +42?? (my guess...)
pic for reference:
http://www.webwombat.com.au/motoring...view-2-big.jpg
16x6.5 is definitely right ... offset not sure ... but definitely around 40~45
16 x 6.5 + 50 or 55
hi guys, 17x9 +22 which tyres are the best for this set up? 215/40/17 or 235/40/17
215/40/17
I run 215/45 on the rears. Nice natural stretch
235/40 on the front for traction
17x9 +20 all around
Stock suspension natural canberra
yes cause its thicker...+ less chance to buckle your rims
350z rims on fd??
17x8 +30/33
I know they fit but what ya reckon?
200 for a set, wonder if it will okay
The ones that concave in the centre? They'll look ok. Just spray them another color
get it, interested how it looks like
Flat face ones are not nice. On my 350 got rid of them straight away
WTF! Where?!
I'll buy them if you're not getting them!
Srs
@IOU
I would go 215/40
BUT Didnt you say you wanted to track your car?
Or was that your friend? (I cant remember) If you are going for track build then 235/45 or even 255
But that will require some stiff coilovers and a reasonable height.
235 too thick..need 225 instead
LOL, now i am even more confused.
215,225,235/40,45
I understand that if i want to get the comfortable then i have to sacrifice the look or if I want to get the good look I have to give up the comfortable.
To be simple, the tyres I want are:
1) Not to thick (to get the good look)
2) Not to thin (to get the comfortable)
3) Not getting scrubbed or anything when full load
I'm thinking about xenonkuraz's set up. 235/40 (fronts) and 215/45 (rears)
Should I run 235/40 all around, any issues?
@ honda_FD: i have a set of DC5R brembo brakes. If you are interested pm me, I will give you a surprising price.
or somebody's got FD civic want to get Brembo set, pm me. (I have a special price for honda civic FD' users only, because I want to see this Brembo brakes to be installed on honda civic)
If i had money i would put these on =(
i ran 235/45 with 1.5 drop F and 1.4 drop R and were scrubbing.
i wouldnt have a clue on stock height but if lowered you may need 215 or 225
maybe that car was different. running 255 on our civics will scrub for sure
Nah you take em man.
Nah srs just take it this guy.
I want dc5s rims
^ only if in syd, would of sold mine to ya
got a rolling shot of my car using a rig pro lastnight.

^ dw man im like that as well. its just plasti dip type S wheels<.<
Does anyone know if the material used for fd2r seats is the same as the material used for recaros? needa clean mine :D
ah ok, well wet and dry vacuum hire from kennards...did mine and turned out well :)
Yeah 235/45 will rub, 40 profiles better but it will still rub on big bumps,
Im gunna run some spacers up front on the fendrs and run 255s for ze track right after the boost goes to 10 or 12psi.
Iou id be interested but I can get new brembo calipers for alot less,, I already have s2000 rotor, pm me a price if ya really get desperate pm with a reverse lowball offer ! Lol
I dont think Im gunna get them.
I honestly dont think they will suit my car very well.
I might find some G35 wheels instead

I want it but I don't. Would my tyres on the oem fl rims fit these even though they 1inch wider?
Factory tyre size I guess. I'll double check though
It should be 215/45/17.
Theres a guy near my area selling DC5S rims.
http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthr...ugen-Wing-More
I managed to lowball him to $250 :D
But unsure which one to go for now

Im curious to see what type of FD's we have in Melbourne

My car looks like a 4x4!!! Defo need coils and 17's.
Bit depressing had to switch back to 98 fuel from E85 and lost 20hp and 40nm atw's !! lol
lending my car to my brother while Im up in QLD fishing, he's heading bush where E85 is non existance.
Anyone here got a stock civic sport intake that they wanna get rid of?
Same here bro.
Slammed on stock wheels are the way to go!
Car looks high in this picture though. But driving it is quite
a handful. Tiny bump on the road and im smashing my frame on the ground
both front Tow Hooks have actually bent upwards. The chassis behind the front wheel
is just as bad. Just a Car Park Whore really...

17x9 +20-35? YEA YEA?! DO IT!
only thing you might need to do is roll the rear guards but thats it.
my set up was:
BBS LMs
17x9 + 35 all round
215/45 for tyres (minor stretch)
rear guards rolled.
was on springs (1.5F and 1.4R)
perfect!
i had to get my guards hella rolled to fit 18x9 up back.
Replica mugen visors slowly stripping off haha mad flapping sounds when driving fast lolol
Shieeeeeeeeeeeee

So as you may know. My car was rear ended recently.
And because of that my xForce Twin Loop Muffler was damaged in the accident.
Since its not an illegal modification they're paying me out for a brand new one ($300)
But since they're going to deposit the money into my bank I'm thinking of putting in a
little extra for a Varex Muffler (VMK8-250) They go for $450 fitted
That way i can fart around town and then close it up when im near home.
My twin loop in fine though. It just has a cracked tip.
Thoughts?
