Havent done much, just DIY the wing myself, cut off that triangle shit in the middle, filled it up and painted it.
hope its not registered in your name, if the police scan it and see a p plater owns it, you could stand out more ;-)
i know that the type r/mugen wing will cover up the holes cause ive asked the guy with the white fd (with the type r kit) if he had an original spoiler on his car before he put on his type R and he said yeah, the type r wing covers the holes. Not sure about the ducktail though

I have a physics question for you guys.
So I've installed the HIDs few days ago, everything was fine.
Except, I'm not sure if it's me or, it seems that the light emitted seems to be aimed lower than standard halogen? I'm not sure if it's just normal, and the HID is just intensifying the normal beam pattern on the road.
In otherwords, it feels like I have to align the headlights HIGHER not lower.
I think is it due to the HID being a much longer bulb, and the light emitted sits right into the "cone" of our headlights? While the halogens, the light bulb doesn't even reach that cone. (hope that makes sense).
So am I being crazy, or is there some reasoning around there.?
SharkChu, you are not being crazy. I don't know the reason but you are right.
I fitted those HID's about 3 years ago. The light is so much more intense and white but definitely not as far reaching as standard.
When I lived in a rural area and started work really early you really appreciated how good they were. Everyone commented on how bright my lights were, but I never got
flashed or got complaints.
I always wondered about this myself.
so was I
hid is not designed to work in reflector headlights like regular bulbs..
hid need a projector to aim the light or it just scatters light everywhere and blinds other drivers
please learn and understand what mod you do before just fitting it on

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to EKVTIR-T again.

Oh I know that, I bought the Lights willing to throw them away, just wanted to see how good/bad the light scattering is. But with the ones I have currently, they almost mimic the halogen pattern, and it's 2 very distinct lights, not all merged and glarey like the one titled "reflector based"
If you have a read a page back on my post about it.. Haha I'll put up a picture sometime.

Guinea pigs anyone? Planning to buy a set of used headlights by the sound of things.
Anyone want to help me fit these, or know anyone that has the ability to do so? haha, definitely not something I can do alone.
Found a cameo of you'r car Liquid23.

That Glossy finish is friggin awesome, how much it set you back?
The difference here though, is that if some bird shit eats through your paint while you're on holiday or something, a dealership will warrant a respray on the paint, whereas you'd be arguing till your face turns blue with the detailer.
So while I agree that the opticoat is probably the better /more renowned product, it doesn't come with that contractual agreement
Bought, a projector kit from TRS. $349 delivered w/ insurance. Not bad.
Anyone in Sydney, willing to assist in installation? Or even help make a review/take photos?
Anybody here have installed Hood Damper Support?

the americans run the high beams on at low power
but u can get an indicator reverse thing, duno if it will work on the FD's MICU system t hough
Well my Civic got some more stopping power today (long overdue), Honda Acura TL type S Brembo's ( 4 Piston ), matched up with some 300mm S2000 rotors, reasonably easy install. Also upgraded my rear sway bar from 18-23mm, initial turn in is a little sharper, wont get a chance to test on the track til December, thinking of finally turning the boost up next month .....

damn nice
Whiteline rear sway bar:

Cusco front and rear sway bar:
http://www.jdmconcept.com.au/part/cu...fd1-1.8l-06-11
The cusco rear sway bar is thicker by 1mm, but besides that there isn't that much difference between the two.
The more thicker the more better?
http://ultraracingaustralia.com.au/i...ory&path=68_78
Front sway bar: cusco 28mm compare to ultra racing 25mm
Rear sway bar: cusco 23mm compare to ultra racing 19mm
If you were me, what would you gonna get? save more money to get the Cusco or ultra racing are good enough?
thanks lolmclol
If you're using it for street use, I'd say ultra racing, if you're using it for the track go with Cusco.
But if you want the extra strength go with the Cusco, but if its just something to do go with ultra racing.
would get front strut bar always
consider it a steering enhancement rather than handling mod as in every car ive felt before and after it sharpens the steering feel so in that case its cheap imo
$100-200 to increase steering feel and tightness is worth it
dont bother with a rear one,you wont feel anything
Wow stevil, nice!
Yeah Curtis been wanting to do the Brembo upgrade for ages, gives me no more excuses at the track ! lol
Ultra racing RSB will be fine, Cusco is nice but extra $$ makes the choice easy.
reckon those'll fit s2k?
Hey jprak, you ain't the only two-tone FD in town.
Driving down the hume hwy @ Bass hill. Saw a black(or could be sparkle grey) pulling out of the caltex. With white mugen side skirts, and white side fenders (that section around the wheel, I think that's what it's called). White Mugen rear view mirror cover, and those L-shaped Merc DRL in the foglight area. and a bunch of toys across the dash.
Didn't get a picture though, was .. interesting choice of colour
Lol! Mines better! Jks my car will be getting painted before jdmyard meet
